Okay my other option I the "Avenue". I have a $25 store credit and there are a couple I think are cuter but the say "waist control"...not thinking that is good on my pregnant belly?!?!?

Yeah I scanned them & didn't like the price point. But if you already have a credit.... and then there is that "tummy control".. not thinking that would be good, unless you ordered a size a bunch bigger..... hmmmm

Long time, no write, which you will find is often the case with me. I read and lurk on these boards more frequently than I respond. I will say the newest babies are gorgeous though!

My husband and I had our first ultrasound today, and found out we're having a girl!!! This is a total shock to us. I didn't have a preference as long as the baby was healthy, but boys run in his family, so this is a big surprise. I guess the grandma's were right though, as both having been saying she. We had boys names all picked out, but only a first name for a girl. I guess now we get to keep going through name books to find a middle name to go with Isabelle.

Hope all the other moms are doing great on here.

I hope the walking works! I forget...are you dilated at all?

Not sure if I am dilated or not yet. She didn't check me last week and the two prior weeks, the baby's head was so low that they couldn't really reach my cervix... SO I have no clue!

I go tomorrow afternoon. I would have thought maybe the full moon would have done it last night, but no.

Maybe tomorrow for Friday the 13th!!!

I passed my gestational diabetes test! Woohoo!

Also, since Lucas is in the 90th percentile with weight AND breech, my Dr. is doing another ultrasound next month to see if he flipped yet and check on his size. She is concerned if he keeps growing like a weed and doesn't flip, she won't be able to get him out of the breech position if he gets too big. So she plans to monitor that which means I get to see my boy again next month, so will be foregoing the 3D in Columbus. Made the choice easy!

Thanks and Woohoo to that! I'm excited you get to see your little guy again and I hope he flips while he still can. (A good friend just had a 9 lb. baby who wound up a c-section because he got too big before he turned head down. She said she didn't mind the section so much once she saw how big he was.)

Yeah, I think that is why she is trying to keep an eye on him, the possibility I might need a c-section because of his size... being breech, etc.

He was 2lbs10ounces at the ultrasound and according to this chart,

He should have been 1.68ounces on average.

I can see her concern!
Oh well. I trust her to keep an eye on it.


She cracked me up today because she walked in with my chart and said "Sorry I made you wait, I took a look at the folder and told the nurse that you weren't my patient!"
I just stared at her and then she goes...
"You changed your last name."

I couldn't believe she noticed. I'd totally forgotten I'd switched from my maiden to my married name at my last appointment! Made me feel like she was more patient oriented than I had before, though!

Congrats on passing your diabetes test, I passed mine too! I was thrilled.

Quiet day today. Happy Friday everyone. I have a mountain of laundry to do, and I need to start packing! We head to WDW in less than a week!

Tomorrow we have an appt to get my son's hair cut. I want to get my hair cut before vacation too. I'm thinking I want to chop it all off, do a hair donation. The longest part is around my waist, thinking about going around chin length, nice & short for vacation. Easier to deal with on vacation, anyway. Since I get my hair cut so infrequently, it's like trying to find a new place every single time. Probably just go to the mall to get it done.

Thats a good idea. My SIL did that after she had my newphew. Plus it will be easier for you to take care of when you have 3 kids!!

So the great name battle of our time continues lol. I thought we had everything all picked out until DH said sometime in the beginning of this week that he doesn't like Mason.

I WANT MASON, lol!!! We have tried every middle name possible to make it work for both of us but neither of us agrees. I like Alexander, he says its too long, he likes Michael but I think Mason Michael is silly (I love alliteration but I don't think it works with this particular name) so I finally did the unthinkable, I gave in to the name that is his favorite and I said we would never name our child - Josiah and now everyone says it doesn't flow or sound nice I don't think Mason Josiah sounds horrible. So at this point I am giving up on my Mason We'll probably just name him Noah Michael and be done with it... after all this it will be girl, watch!!!

How is everyone else doing? I am cranky because DH is going to be gone all day tomorrow volunteering at some plant thing (he is the president of the native plant society here)! I hate plant meetings lol. I can only imagine what they talk about lol. It could be worse though!!!! Who will run out and get the things I crave lol?

Yeah! I have to do mine next week. I can't believe this is my last 4 week appointment. I feel like I just told DH that we have a souvenir from Disney! This baby has decided that 2 am is a good time for a party or the hiccups.

I'm hoping that this appointment doesn't reveal that I've gained a mountain of weight. Last time I gained 8 pounds. But since we gave up fast food for lent I think it might be a little better. Does anyone else just have a craving for something that's not the best for you? I'm kind of glad I don't have to hear "welcome to McDonald's, can I take your order" for the next few weeks.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! There are about 5 kids resales this weekend so I can't wait to get all the clothes shopping done for the summer. DS will be easy, onesies! I'm also on the lookout for a swing. Do you have one that you really like? We never had one so I thought it might be easier instead of having DS1 bouncing his brother right out of the bouncy seat.
