Yuck! My professor asked me Monday if I'd tried pickles dipped in yogurt yet.

Funny thing is, I LOVED pickles before. They were always in the house. I've eaten maybe 2 this whole pregnancy thus far-- they're just not appealing to me. I'd rather eat a cucumber. Or grapes. Or strawberries. Mmmm.

As for ice cream... I'm all about chocolate ice cream w/ chopped up bananas in it lately. (Thank you Gwen Stefani, I'll never wonder again if I am spelling bananas correctly)

That's me with yogurt and water. I can finally drink water again, but just thinking about yogurt. Yuck!!

sarah - jillian LOVES katie kazoo. asked for them at school and they are gonna have to order some! we read the first four from the public library.

Yay!! Have her try Ready Freddy too. The kids around here love them...

Can you order something through them, that they don't carry in store but carry online.. through your local store?

I have an Aunt who wants to buy my carseat but she's mega-mega against the internet. She wants to call the local store, order it and have it ready for my mom to pick up since they don't carry it at our local store. (Aunt lives in SC)
I was going to call the store but I don't wanna get up...

I know I'm old for this thread, but is anyone else freaking at the idea of Marie Osmond dating Richie Sambora???!!!! I'm anxiously waiting on Entertainment Tonight to come back on to tell me if this is real or rumor! I had Richie Sambora posters on my wall in 8th grade-can't see him with Marie!

He was married to Heather Locklear. They were friends with Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, then Richie ended up with Denise. I think that has been over for awhile now, too. Apparently, he and Marie were just at the same hotel at the same time.

From what I understand the stores and the website are very independent from each other. The prices never match for example. And since I just checked and the website doesn't ship to your local store, I'm going to guess that they can't do that for ya.

how long did it take for the affected side to return to somewhat normal? the lump is still there ... and the b**b is GINORMOUS ... seriously. it is like "what the @#% happened here?" Even my KIDS are asking why is that side so much bigger mom?
The antibiotic is cefadroxil (?) or something like that ... it took 1 1/2 days to bring the fever below 102 ... that and 600mg ibu and 1000 tylenol every 6 hours.

I always thought she had some of the best BF info & troubleshooting on the web.

Get in a HOT shower & try hand expressing in the shower, if you have that bad a block, you *need* to clear the block. I have heard of women taking their hand pump into the shower w/ them to try to clear a block. (Obviously dump the milk, or don't even connect a collection bottle.) Also pumping the affected breast can help clear the block too, massage while pumping if you can manage it.

When I felt like I might be developing a blockage (when I was exclusively pumping for DS1) I pumped & asked DH to massage my breasts for me, bigger, stronger hands seemed to be able to do more to release blocked milk than I could alone. Feel better, mastitis s#cks.

I can't keep up with you gals! Of course, I am slow at EVERYTHING right now! My back hurt last night, I have noticed I have started with a "slight" waddle and I am only a little over halfway there. I went to the Dr. Tuesday and I have averaged a pound of weight gained since I've been pregnant which my Dr. seemed happy with-I just feel so much bigger!

On another note, I had a dream about what my baby boy was going to look like-he had the most beautiful ice blue eyes (like that would really happen!) and I was so caught up in how beautiful and good he was that I kept forgetting to feed him!

I know I am whining ...
BUT SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will we ever find our new "normal"? This cannot be it.
I think GOD is trying to remind me that I said this would be my last b/c i was waffling already...and saying MAYBE....
ok...whining done for a moment.

With mine, I didn't have a blocked duct or any lumps...just the really bad infection with extremely irritated ni**les. Symptoms hit Wed. and didn't start to go away until Sat. Started pumping that side on Sunday. It took Luca a while to get the bottle, then he was fine with it for a while. By Monday night, though, he wouldn't take it anymore, so I started feeding him on both sides again. Luckily, it didn't hurt anymore and as of yesterday, my ni**les are finally back to normal! My bleeding has been off and on. It'll stop then come back with a vengence.


This stage always makes me want another....but then I have to remind myself that they become toddlers. If my DH doesn't get "taken care of" soon, I may waffle too!




Hey ladies, don't let our b-feeding experiences this time scare you. I've never had a problem like this before! I wouldn't give it up for anything either!
