I am wondering how to post a photo of Tessa to share y'all?
copy and paste is just not working for me... I must be as computer illiterate as DH claims I am...

You have to have the picture on a photo sharing site, like photobucket or snapfish, then you can post it.

It's way more complicated that it should be.

You just sign up for one of those sites and then you can upload pictures for free. Once you do that you can post them here.

here i was scrolling thru looking for info on you and luca and we were posting at the same time!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

I have a mega nurser too!! we should compare notes...i have tried EVERYTHING. I guess my milk is too abundant and she is flicking me w/ her tongue to slow it down and has blistered me. ugh. so now they have me reclining to nurse w/ her on TOP of me...ok, i cannot figure this out!!! how to hold her, her head, the milk machine ... it is very humorous....other thing that is cracking me up...

cabbage.

they told me to buy a cabbage and put a whole leaf on my breast after I nurse to relieve the pain...i balked...then got desperate...now i am literally cooking cabbage in my bra on a regular basis!!! it actually does work. the lacation lady said nobody ever is willing to try it, but it works...she was right!

it is so weird how it can seem so foreign even though its my third time nursing - they really are all different kids!!

how are your other boys reactiing? my girls are a little shell shocked.
dd1 is star student at school this week, and dd2 turned 4 yesterday so they each have something special so that helps.

good luck finding some quiet time to snuggle...i am so glad you were able to have luca on your own terms

hope the rest of you have a fantastic day...ours started good...DH took kids to school and my cooking club members delivered brunch i love food, especially when someone else makes it

So the cabbage helps the blistering? I am willing to try anything. And sadly, I am now craving cabbage.

Lisa, Luca is absolutely precious! God Bless! It is hard to believe that in about 3 and a half weeks I will be holding my baby boy! My doc is going to induce me around 3/9.

But I wanted to stop in and say that HomeSweetDisney and I must have the same due date
Because I am 15 weeks 2 days as of today

Did they tell you August 2nd for your due date?

Luca is precious! What a cutie!

So I had my second appointment today. I lost weight again I think from all the MS. But my doctor said that was fine since I was already on the heavy side to begin with so it's not a bad thing that I lost weight. I heard the heartbeat too which was cool. It sounded nice and strong

As far as cravings go, I haven't really had too many yet. The other day I wanted some ice cream REALLY badly so I gave in. Every now and then I get a craving for some kind of fast food but not too often. I think it's because I was still getting sick so much. I'm sure those cravings will kick in eventually! And then I'll be wishing that they weren't.


Question! For those of you who found out the sex of your baby, how many weeks along were you? My next appt. I will be 20 weeks but my dr. says she thinks it will still be too early to tell and I probably won't be able to find out until the appt. after that. So around 24 weeks or so. I was a little disappointed because I'd read that you can tell as early as 16 weeks sometimes so I was hoping by 20 weeks it would be a for sure thing. I guess I just have to take her word on it...she is more experienced than I am!

See and that's what a lot of people have told me. That theirs was between 18 and 20 weeks. My friend from work had hers at 22 weeks so I guess 24 isn't too much longer after that. But I really thought my next appointment would be the one where I found out...

We found out at 19 or 20 weeks when we had our big ultrasound. Next time I may cave and go to the 3D place and find out earlier!!! I have no patience!!

OMG Whoppers and Chik-fli-a...and McDs sweet tea. I'm kinda over all of them and trying to be more healthy. When I was eating all that stuff, I could barely keep anything down, so I wasn't too worried about it being healthy.

I can't do fast food with all this gallbladder crap... (I only ever ate fast food for lunch and where I work they don't have a Chik Fil A!)
I can do the grilled chicken at Chik Fil A, though it would take me well over a half hour to get there on my lunch break! So sad.

So far I've been lucky-- my cravings have been salads and veggies and fruit!
I recently discovered the grocery store that is a 3 minute walk does little fresh cut cups of Cantaloupe for 2.99/lb.. which is cheaper then buying the cantaloupe myself and cutting it up! So I get cantaloupe cups a LOT.

I guess I just have to take her word on it...she is more experienced than I am!

I was somewhere between 18-19 weeks when I found out. I went in 18 weeks and 4 days and left 19 weeks and 3 days or something to that effect.

It's a pretty clear shot, he was more than willing to show his goods!

It does seem, though, from stuff I've read and other people that I've talked to.... the it depends on the quality of the machine they have. My pictures and the whole ultrasound were VERY clear.

Also-- for those that have had the ultrasound-- I've now had two (one for baby and one for gallbladder) and both times the gel was WARM, almost hot-- anyone else get heated ultrasound gel??

Nope-I've had 3 ultrasounds (9 wks, 19 wks, and 23 wks) and all three times was room temp gel straight from the tube!

Just wanted to share some pics of our nursery. It got filled up a lot faster than I thought it would. We ended up having to put the drawers in the closet to have enought room!

Many people think the yellow is too bright, but I like it!
