"Newest" Moms Hangout... take 2!

Man I don't know how I missed so many posts! Love all the pictures and stories. Hope everyone is healthy and sleeping! lol

We leave for WDW on Friday. Right now we're all healthy. We're having a big snowstorm here, but it is supposed to be pretty clear on Friday. It looks like it might be great weather in Fl when we go, tho it seems to change big time every day. I looked on Saturday and it was 61 every day and now it ranges from 63-77! Trying to pack for this is crazy.

I can't believe that I'll be there this time next week. I'm sooo happy!!

We also have a crawler and pulling himself up and walking along things!! I think Logan be walking in no time. When he puls himself up he lets go with one hand and swings to the side lol.We're leaving the 23rd for miami for christmas!! Hope everyone is doing great!! Ohh still no baby its been 4monthes but I have a feeling I am but too early to test so we'll see. And DH is doing good he's still on dialysis at home but its going great Logan is a trooper with it. Ohh also for those who had a c-section does your scar still feel numb alittle?

Yes, my scar still feels a bit numb and Natalie is 18 months. I don't know if numb is the right word, but it does feel weird.

I have all but 2 more gifts to buy and both are super easy. One is a gift card from Lowe's and the other is a toy for the doggie. I only have one more gift to mail. Whew! I still need to plan whats for Christmas dinner.

Brynn has started scooting around like an army man, and it is hilarious to watch.... Our poor pet's lives will never be the same! We also heard her first word last week.... Hi! The first time I heard it I thought it was a fluke, but she now says it ALL the time. I guess that’s what you get when you say “Hi!” to your child ALL THE TIME! Maybe we'll get ma-ma or da-da soon!
We have our follow-up appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow. I have prayed over and over again that he will tell us everything is 100% normal.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and isn't FREEZING like we are in Chicago!

And Lauren, wow on Brynn's 1st word already! My older 2 didn't utter an intentional word until they were over a year, and Scarlett seems to be following in their pattern. She "says" da-da, but not actually meaning my husband, just babbling.

Ha! I would take 16 degrees right now!! Up here, it is 12 below zero!! We are supposed to warm up to 14 today, if that can be considered a "warm up"!

We are having a major heat wave here, today we are going to hit 82. That is crazy warm. We are going to spend the afternoon at the park. Tomorrow is Santa picture day. Wish us luck!

I'm worried that DH & I did something imprudent last weekend & I might be/ get pg again......... Not even sure when my lmp was, so don't know when or if I should test, I think it was begining of Dec, maybe 12/1, could be a couple days in either direction tho. So I wait, for at least another week, maybe two......

Now if I could be assured of a single, healthy, full-term baby -- hey I'd be soooo glad-- I love baby-babies, my two are now toddlers & not so much babies..... But with my history, 26 weeker, 2+ months of bedrest resulting in 30 week twins & now I'm 39.. Let's just say I'm good with my 3 kids.

So if there's any babies around thinking about sticking, I'm hoping that he/ she or (god help me) they bypass me & staley, if you're reading, (or anyone else that's ttc) they can head on over to your place.......

On the bright side, think DH has decided to go get the big V if we are in the clear here.... Alrighty, ladies think real hard with me..... no baby here, no baby here, no baby here.....

Well, there was good news and not so good news at our cardiologist appointment. The good news is that things are progressing; the bad news is that we have to go back in 3 months....
I hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday season with their little ones! We got Brynn's 6 month pictures back yesterday and we're pretty happy with them.... Hope no one minds me sharing a few.....

I agree, I see a lot of mommy in there too! And she is definitely a cutie.

Today was the last day of school for my kids till 1/3, and therefore the first night of 24/7 fun with 3 kids for me! The new year can't come soon enough!!

Thanks ladies! We think she's pretty great! She defiantly looks like both of us, but she is all daddy when it comes to personality and attitude! It's really a good thing because I always said that if I could have a child as laid back as my husband I would be VERY lucky!

Well Ladies it's time to celebrate. I booked our trip for next year. Oct 1-8th at CSR. Here's to hoping I guessed the schools schedule right and I don't have to change the dates. School doesn't release next years schedule till may. I hope they also offer free dining or another great discount for that time as well. I'm looking forward to DS's first trip to Disney.

Joanne, you totally have me jealous! I am *dying* to book a trip over my kids spring break (mid-march), but I know we're spending a ton on house renovations and landscaping right now, so I really shouldn't be spending more money. I think I'll work on my husband a bit by asking the kids where they'd like to go (and give them some hints...) and maybe we can work it into the budget.

Ooooh! Super jealous!!! We are looking at going again for Elliott's 2nd birthday. I can't wait to take a little one with us again!!

Snow...snow...snow...seems to be all we are getting lately!!! At least we will have a white Christmas!!!

Christmas shopping is done, except for a football for DS11. Then it is on to deciding what to get Elliott for his birthday. I think we are going to get him something to climb on that we can put in the family room. My sister is going to make his birthday cake....Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
