Carys started rice cereal! I tried it yesterday but I made it way too watery. She still took a couple spoonfuls. Today I made it with a little less forumla and she did well! So cute. Her first spoonful she made the funniest face like "um, what is this?" for some reason 1 tbsp seems like a lot once it is mixed and in the bowl. I don't know how long it will take her to want to eat all of that in one sitting. I guess I will find out.

Ha! Elliott still makes that face, and he has been eating solids for about 3 months! No matter what I give him, he makes a face at first!

So the worest is about to being we just got the news yesterday DH is going to have to start dialysis within the next month or two His kidney function is down to only 8% so its time but he say's he feels fine he just has problems sleeping so I'm going to try and get him some type of herbal tea for him to help with that. It was a rough day yesterday for us I don't ever show him if I get upset but it's def not easy for me to say the least. To be honest I'm just truely scared so if you can all keep him in your prayers that would be great. Thank you!! I hope everyone is doing great!!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers We are waiting to hear from dialysis center to make an appointment to pick out a machine since he'll be doing it at home so.

But on a happy note the buyers approved our offer so we're just waiting to hear back from the bank!! It's been a crazy week with ups and downs.

Thank you yes there's alot going on it's been a crazy couple of monthes. But I have high hopes that it'll work out in the end......

I saw all the new deals that came out & it made me really, really want to be actively planning next year's trip..... <sigh>

So I may be a little crazy, but next weekend I'm gonna pack up all 3 kiddos & by myself, take them to a shore house that my mom rented for the week. DH has to work, in fact may have a tough week at work, so can't come. A bunch of my family will be there, so I will have some help (we'll see how much help they really are!) but prb not overnight. And these 2 still are not STTN! We'll see how long I can stand it, I'm certainly not committing to staying all week, depending on how it goes I may well bail after 3 or 4 nights.

I'm hoping that maybe DH will be able to catch up on a little sleep since I'll have all the kids. I figure I'll go on Sunday, so at least DH will be around to help me get everything packed & loaded into the car.

Woohoo on the rolling over!! My DS was the first to see Elliott roll, and I didn't believe him when he told me that Elliott rolled, so Wyatt (my oldest) put Elliott on his back, so I could see him roll, too.

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. Our heat is finally (!!!!) going to break this week. I am so tired of the 100's. We watched my in-laws dogs this weekend and Natalie loved it. She had 4 doggies to play with. This week we start Kindermusik again. We did it last year and had a great time. A lot of the same kids are coming back so that will be fun. Next week we start Mother's day out on Thursday. I am really getting nervous! I know it is only 3 hours long but still I am nervous about leaving her. I don't want her to be scared.

haven't posted in a while. hope you are all doing well.

we are still struggling with the bottle situation, though i have been slacking on the trying, i have to say. she drinks out of a sippy at daycare (milk and water) and only water out of one at home for me.

i appreciate the suggestions- i just don't think she is old enough to understand "throwing the bottle away" or giving it to the new baby. i plan to wait until her 18 month check up and ask the pedi for suggestions.

other than that, she has been babbling up a storm and using her hands as she speaks- it is quite hysterical.

we go for our anatomy scan for the new baby this afternoon. i am really excited to see if allie will have a brother or sister!
