Newest Harry Potter trailer

OMG I saw this yesterday and watched it about 10 times. I am so excited about it and sad at the same time. I have read all the books about 10 times and I was VERY disappointed with THBP. I cried like a baby in a certain scene and I can't believe that they just ended it as they did. I also am a huge Snape fan so I can't wait for the revelations that come in DH. The trailer looks like they really stuck to the book well this time. They had to make 2 movies because I think the fans would have been outraged if they skipped things like the last few movies.

The trailer is amazing. But I"m kinda stumped as to why they feel like they need to jump on the 3D bandwagon? Nearly everything I've seen in 3D the past few years, I should have just seen normally as I've not been impressed with the 3D graphics in anything. To me, it's trying to make it more of a gimmick movie than something legitimate by adding the 3D. :confused3

I saw the trailer yesterday also. I am soooooooooooo excited, I can't wait!!

However, I also hope with having two movies, they leave the heart in them. I agree they have really chopped up the last two movies. While they were good films, I was disappointed by them.
Also agreed, we MUST hear Mrs. Weasley yell that line!!!

I however, might not read the 7th book again right before the movie. I did that with book 6, and I think that is part of the reason I didn't enjoy the movie as much. With the book so fresh in my head, I found myself picking the movie apart with all the changes they made.

I will be sure to bring a ton of kleenex, I was sobbing so hard reading the book, I could barely see it by the end. I can only imagine in the movie.
And I am so excited for Hermione and Ron to finally wise up on screen!!!!

I read it aloud to DD- there were a lot of parts where I couldn't even keep reading, I was crying so hard.

I agree. The trailer looks amazing. But am I the only one that is annoyed that it is in 2 parts? Not only because it will make me crazy waiting in between, but why do I have to spend the money to go to the theater twice? I'll just wait for the DVD I guess. I read the book so I'm in no rush.

I was ecstatic when I heard they were doing 2 parts!!! 1 movie is not nearly enough time to get everything that needs to be shown onto the screen.

I didn't like how it ended. I felt like it could have gone one way or the other, and the fact it kind of went both took some of the punch out.

If I hear the first part is as bad as the 6th movie was, then I'm going to be concerned. Movie theater ticket prices now cost $13 over here. I'm excited for the movie, but I won't see it if reviews are bad.

I thought they were going to split it movie at when they get caught by the Snatchers and Malfor Manor.

Everything I've heard though, the split is around Malfoy Manor, before or after.

Yes, that is what I have heard too. I believe there was an interview with David Heyman (producer) and he alluded to that as well.

I hope so! As soon as I heard it was being split into two parts, I said "The Malfoy Manor part would be perfect for the split!"

I could not see the end of the book from crying, either.
Especially Snape's Memories.
I kept sobbing, looking around my room at the Harry Potter posters, then crying more. I kept thinking, "This is the end of this.. ":sad1:

I cried so hard at the end of the book, I made my contact lens fall out.

Something funny, whether it's true or not, idk. But it's from a facebook page that's dedicated to Emma Watson and her attending Brown University:

my friend once told me he was in a lecture with Emma in brown universtiy, The professor askes the lecture hall a general question and miss watson trows up her hand to answer the question. She gets the question right and one of his class mates shouts out from the back of the class "10 points for gryffindor". the class e...rupted with laughter, miss watson was not impressed.

I was :rotfl: when I read that.
