First of all I posted a question in the wrong area. Sorry darn those new people. I would really love to hear from all you awsome people who are disney world professionals. We my Hubby and two kids ages 8-10 are going to DW for the first time in oct. 15-21. We can only go to the parks 3 days as son has a taekwondo tournament at wide world of sports. Question is where to stay? There is so much info (wounderful) out there I am overwhelmed. There is a package at All Star sports at 82.00 a night but Hubby dosen't sleep well so I'm thinking double bed might not be great. I would love to stay at a deluxe at rent points but if I am understanding room configurations we cant do that and get a queen bed with bunks? So off site for bigger place or on site smaller place but better first time disney experience? Also would prefer to not rent a car. Please any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Jenny

ya could check on All Stars Music on the Family suites, but they go quickly. You could check for a discount rate at Swan/Dolphin. I stayed in a newly refurbed room at All star sports in Sept, and the beds are pretty darned comfortable. there is also dreamsvillas.com for staying off site... orlando has the cheapest rental car rates in the universe.

Not all Deluxes comes with bunk beds it only to my understanding it is the WL & AKL & you have to request bunk beds. Not sure if you are talking about Disney vacation resorts or not if so you buy points from DCA owners. :confused3 . Swan or Dolphin is nice also so I am told. Good luck !:)

WL (Wilderness Lodge has bunkbeds and a Queen with it http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...d=WildernessLodgeResortGuestRoomsListingPage),
and I'm sure you'd love it, but it is a step up from 82 dollars for sure. As for AS, the 82 dollars is just rack rate and I'm positive you can get better at that time of year. The suites are there and you might enjoy that as opposed to the deluxe.

If you're offsite you have to rent a car pretty much, so it eats up some of your savings, if not all once you toss in parking, but you can get a bigger place for that price. The transportation on site is convenient and easy.

I'd suggest staying onsite. Are you a AAA member? Have you signed up for the disney dvd on their website (sometimes they will mail you codes when you do this for cheaper stays at certain times). You will have to decide if he will be able to sleep on the double or not and go from there.
