We are planning a trip to WDW sometime in the Fall. Our dates are flexible but we are thinking of Sept. We are also flexible in our lodging. We like BWV because they seem close to many things. We are a family of four: Me, DH, DD 4 and DD2. We may bring grandma because DD 2 can sleep in a pack n play.

1. Would it be better to rent points for a studio or a 1 bd?

2. Am I calculating this correctly - Sun. - Thurs. studio = 45 points and a 1 bd. = 80 points if we go during adventure season?

3. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding planning our trip?

Thanks!!

For me, that depends on two things -- whether GM comes, and where you stay. My personal vote if GM stays home would be for the studio -- either with both kids in the sofa-bed (or queen, at OKW). With GM, I'd go for the 1 Bedroom.

You're correct if you are figuring on OKW or BWV standard view. However, Food & Wine is in September, and standard views are almost always gone immediately at the 11-month windows, so you are unlikely to get standard view. If you get preferred view BWV, it would be 60/110 points.

If I were going with just the kids, I'd do the OKW studio. You'll get larger accommodations, lower cost, and two queen beds in the studio.

I agree with Jim - except:

* Food & Wine doesn't start until October. September is actually one of the easier times to book the EPCOT resorts and the OP will have a reasonable chance of getting the standard view. However, I'd still recommend calling day by day for the reservation, so the OP will have to look for an owner willing to do that to be sure of getting a standard view room.

* I'd go with the 1 bedroom no matter who goes along. With two small children, the washer and dryer right in the unit will be much appreciated. You can pack much less - and you probably have enough stuff to pack anyway (car seats, strollers, etc.). You'll also have the bedroom for naps or early bedtimes. That means the adults can enjoy the living room & kitchen area.

There should be no problem whatsoever getting either a studio or a 1 bedroom at OKW.

Best wishes -
