Newbie with questions!!

Ok, I'm sure some, if not all, of my questions have been asked before, so please forgive me. I have been looking to do a family cruise for sometime now. I am leaning toward Disney really hard. We took our girls (11, 7, 2) for our first Disney trip this past Feb and are returning again in Feb. Our next vacation I want to be a cruise. So here are my questions..

1. What is the least expensive time of year to go?
2. Is DCL worth the extra $$?
3. Is it better to do land/sea or just a cruise?

We've cruised DCL for the last 4 years and have always gone late Summer in which you can get their Fall Fantasy Package which in my opinion is one of the best times of the year to go. I think the extra $$$ is well worth it as you can't go wrong with Disney. In my opinion, we've done the land/sea once in '99 and did not like it as the cruise went by too quickly and have been doing the 7 Night ever since and would never do anything less again....whatever you decide, you will have a great time with DCL....Andy

1) Fall, particularly late September, is the least expensive time to cruise

2) DCL is most definitely worth it...tops in service, and the ultimate family cruise

3) IMHO...consider a 4 day cruise vs 7 day (3 day too short )for your first time, and book your WDW portion on your own....

Considering the ages of your kids, they will probably want to do WDW & you want to (I would assume) take them as much as you can while they're still young. Do WDW first & then the cruise so that all of your relaxation is AFTER all of the walking & hustle & bustle.

Every kid is different, but a 7-day might be a little much for the 2yo @ this point. The 3 is too short for everyone else, tho.

My vote: land then sea
