First, let me say how awesome this board is! Lots of great information and I've already learned so much! But, I still have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer.

1) What is Mouse Ears Unlimited (MU)? I've seen it mentioned as a good place for price quotes, but I can't find a link to them. I've submitted a request through Dreams Unlimited, but haven't heard back from them yet. I'd like to get as many quotes as possible so I can make an educated choice.

2) Are the 3 and 4-Night cruises worth the price? My first choice is the 7-Night Western, but I'm just not sure we can afford it. We are looking at going the end of September, and a lot of the rooms are already booked, so the least expensive one I could find is the Deluxe Stateroom with Veranda. Consequently, the 7-Night one is pretty expensive. But, with the 3 or 4 Night ones, I'm just not sure the cruise is long enough to a) be fun and b) justify the cost. Any thoughts?

3) Are there any discounts for Florida residents? We are in Orlando.

I think that's all the questions I have for now. Any advice is much appreciated!!

Thanks for helping a newbie learn the ropes!

I'm right there with ya Michelle. I want to get as many quotes as possible too!!! I haven't been able to find mousears either and that link didn't work for me... :(

Michelle...We live in the Orlando area, too. There are several opportunities to travel with a Florida Discount. Check with your TA or DCL directly. They have an office in Kissimmee. I vote for the 7day! You will love it! We are going cruise number 6 next month. It is worth every penny!::yes::

MouseEars Vacations can be found through a link on either www.allearsnet.com or www. passporterboards.com. I have seen liks on both sites.

This is really a personal preference. Having done only 7 day cruises I cannot imagine doing anything less. It would just be starting and I would feel like it was almost over. If you can move your dates around a couple weeks the Western may have more availability.

yes, you lucky Floriday people receive last minute discounts. In addition to mousesavers.com if you call DCL direct they could give you information.

Any other questions, ask away - thats how we all learn.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions! I was able to find the link for MU, so I'm off to request a quote from them.

Hopefully I'll be posting soon with my cruise plans!!

TraSee: What part of Orlando are you in? I'm in Oviedo. Hope Hurricane Charley doesn't hit us too hard!

There's a FL Resident rate going on right now for September and early October. It just missed us by two weeks. I'm still hoping DCL will release FL rates for 10/16/04.

We're getting ready for Charley here too. They don't think it's going to be too bad here, the last I heard.
