Hi, I was a faithful poster here a couple of years ago when I was planning for a family trip to Disney! That year, it was myself, hubby, son, sister, two nieces and my 73 yr old Mom who had never went to Disney, she really didn't even want to go, but my sis and I 'kind of' made her! But guess what? She loved it!!! :thumbsup2 I love this board for all their help in making a great WDW vacation in 2004!

Now, I'm starting to plan a trip to Universal! :Pinkbounc And I'm back for more help! First question, which would have less crowds, the second week of June or Thanksgiving week? Secondly, is it true that if you stay in a universal hotel that you get some kind of front of the line privileges? If it is true, tell me how it works.

Well, I'll stop at those two questions for now! Hubby and I took our six year old son to Univeral in May of 2000 and we loved it---especially since our son was SO much into dinosaurs and JP! Now that he will be 12, he is excited about going back!

Front of the line privileges simply mean that your hotel key works as an unlimited Express Pass. Flash your room key to the attendent out front and you get to enter the express line which will be shorter than the normal line.

About second week of June vs. Thanksgiving, I'm torn on that. Mon-Thur. are ok Thanksgiving week, but Fri-Sun are crowded. With June, you get early summer crowds (but some states up north will still be in school). Either time will be fairly crowded but if you stay on-site and get unlimited Express, it shouldn't matter too much.
