Hello All!

My sisters and I are headed to WDW for the first time. Our travel agent told us to start deciding on places to book reservations at and we haven't got a clue. I love Mexican, my older sister loves Chinese, and my "baby" sister loves Italian. We also like anything other then seafood.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

WOW!!! First timers....I would suggest, especially with all adults, that you check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com Look under dining and then check out the menus....start there and then narrow it down!! When are you going!!

We're going Jan 20-27th, 2009! I'm a big time planner when it comes to stuff like this and am SUPER EXCITED!

I've checked out the menus but gotta admit, i'm a bit overwhelmed I would LOVE any recommendations people have. Those always seem to help narrow things down. :dumbo:

Our family loved the Japanese restaraunt in Epcot. It's called the Teppanyaki steak house. If you like Chinese, I think you would enjoy it there. Another of our must do's is Ohana's at the polynesian resort. Have fun!

Here's a couple popular restaurants to get you started:

PARKS
50's Prime Time Cafe - Disney Studios
Sci-Fi Dine In - Disney Studios
San Angel Inn - EPCOT **MEXICAN**
Le Cellier - EPCOT
Rose & Crown - EPCOT
Liberty Tree Tavern - Magic Kingdom
Tony's Town Square - Magic Kingdom **ITALIAN**
Yak & Yeti - Animal Kingdom **CHINESE-ish**

HOTELS
Ohana - Polynesian Hotel
Kona Cafe - Polynesian Hotel
Whispering Canyon Cafe - Wilderness Lodge
Boma - Animal Kingdom Lodge
Jiko - Animal Kingdom Lodge
Spoodles - Boardwalk Inn

DOWNTOWN DISNEY
Raglan Road

Are you looking for high-quality dining or a fun experience? The places that are the most fun, often don't serve the best food.

We're looking I think for a mixture of both! We're staying for 8 days so just high-quality or just fun could be a little too much. We range in age from 23-31 so are still "kids" but also have an adult side!

We are also on the dining plan so may be a bit limited by which restaurants participate. I am a little bummed by that as the japanese steak place looks cool!

I'm very excited by all of your suggestions. I'm really liking the 50's diner, sci-fi diner, Boma, San Angel (mmm, mexican), Tony's, and Crystal Palace.

I still have a number to check though! Does anyone recommend the Liberty Tavern? I saw the thread and many seem to like it.

Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the suggestions!!!

Ooops, looks like I forgot to ask a question I had.

Is it difficult to get to the other resorts to eat? I really have no clue how this works. :confused3

We liked Mama Melrose ( Italian) at Disney Studios, Tusker House at Animal Kingdom and Coral Reef at Epcot. We enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern for a character dinner at MK. It was nice to sit down and not worry about missing characters while at the buffet. Chef Mickey's for dinner was also fun.
