newbie reservation question - room change and ME

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are in the process of becoming DVC members and I had two questions related to reserving multiple room types during a single stay. For example, say DW, DD and I plan to arrive on a Sunday evening and stay Sunday and Monday in a one-bedroom. Then DW's mother and aunt arrive Tuesday and we want to move to a 2-bedroom to accomodate everyone. Can we reserve that all at once through MS? And my second question involves the Magical Express from MCO. Can my mother-in-law and her sister still use ME to get to the resort from MCO even though they are arriving in the middle of our stay and we are actually the DVC members?

I went to the transportation forum and had my Magical Express question answered -- that was probably the place to start in the first place. If anyone is interested, you can see the answer here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=16970990&posted=1#post16970990.

I'm still curious about the other part of my question, however. Would it be two separate reservations if we stayed in a studio or 1-bedroom for two nights and then moved to a 2-bedroom to add space for others in our party who arrived later during our stay?

It would be two separate reservations because of the change in room sizes. At least I remember reading that on another thread recently. If you get really lucky you might get a 1 BR and then if it is a lock off unit when your other guests arrive they would be put in the studio part and you wouldn't have to change rooms. You would have to go to the desk and check out and check back in again.
