Newbie question: When does loan payment get posted?

Fiance and I recently purchased at SSR, and I was curious when they post the payment when on direct debit. My first payment is "Due" august 1st, but I was curious if anyone had an idea when the payments are actually debited...

They post on the first of the month.

First of the month. If the first happens on a Saturday or Sunday, then the next banking day.

It can be either the 1st or 15th (if you've requested that).
