Newbie question on booking All-star/PopCentury

Hi,

I am new here. I have a question regarding booking for
Allstar or Pop Century for Dec 1-3.

I tried booking the hotel via Travelocity. The site indicated that
the hotel has room. But, failed to confirm at checkout. Called them
up and found that no room is available. Tried the same booking via
2 other agents and same result.

I am wondering if Disney would set aside some rooms for certain agent.
If this is the case, could they release the room later?

There are no Value rooms left at all for the first week in December.

The only room available is a 2-room suite at the Coronado Springs for about $1900 for the 2 nights.

By this time, I don't think any agents (like Travelocity, etc) would have any more rooms available for that week. That week is extremely popular this year!

Yep, I tried the same!

They film the Christmas parade on the 2nd and 3rd so it will be very, very crowded for those days. I have tried like crazy to get a room!! :-(
