I, too, miss the posts of the original keeper of the flame, but he's happily involved with his new house, so we will carry on without him... :ssst:

By the way, since I recently passed ROFR on a 270 pt contract at OKW, I am up to 915 pts, 600 of them are at BWV. Since I am a teacher, our vacations are all during the higher point-times, so we use a majority of those points ourselves. :goodvibes Not sure yet what will happen when I retire...

We have 480 right now. We started back in 2000 when we were pretty sure 200 would be plenty. :confused3

Thanks folks! I may maintain the list but I certainly do NOT have the original keeper's supreme talent for the smilies!! :)

We bought 330 then added on 60. That sounded like a lot but of course it is not. A 2-bedroom at spring break costs a fortune! And as I tell my friends, DVC points are like Weight Watcher's points -- there are never enough! :)

Ditto for me at 480. We started with 230 and added on 150 and most recently another 100. All are at OKW. There are usually 6 - 8 of us so we need to 2-BR units.

I must remove myself from the list. :(

I just closed on my sale of 500 BWV points. I am now

down to 720.

We bought a house in Clermont :cool1: and really didn't need all the points.

My taxes on the house are almost the same as the MF on the points. Go figure that one.

Congratulations Poorman on you new home! Those APs will be a real bargain now! :) The list has been adjusted.

We are only one away from a magic 30 on the list!

I have 300-points. :cool1:

With my family of 5 this allows me to get a 2-bedroom villa at most DVC resorts for a full week.

When the kids get older and leave, I will then be able to stretch my points by using 1-bedroom villas and stay up to 2-weeks with just my spouse. I may even add a few points so I can do 3-weeks. For me it would be nice to take a week off every 4-months. :earsboy:

OKW 220
BCV 150
SSR 150

All separate contracts so if we should ever need to downsize
(shudder, shudder) it will be possible without selling them all. I hope to celebrate my 99th birthday in a GV at OKW in 2042.

We have 160. I can't say that I dont want more points, however I thought it would be unfair of me to crab at my husband for only having 160 when its a 160 more points than I had in 2003! (We bought in 2004) I think once we start having a family in a few years we will buy more, but in the mean time I am grateful for the points we do have. (And for my husband who let me get the points :earsgirl: )

We have 750 points. Every vacation we added until finally my husband said we could absolutely not talk to our rep again. I'm working on him again though!! :earboy2: :earsgirl:
10 days and counting until we are home at BWV
