Hi all! I've been reading posts & menus for weeks and my head is spinning from all of the info! I'd really love it if some of you could give me recommendations for your favorite TS restaurant. We're doing the regular dining plan for 4 nights with a 4-day military park hopper, so we plan on 1 park per day. All I know so far is that I really want to do Le Cellier (lunch) while at Epcot, but DH is going to want the German place, so I need to do some convincing! Oh, and we'll have our 3 kids, DD16, D6 & DS2, so I want at least 2 character meals.

Thanks SO much for taking the time to help! :lovestruc

My family (DH, DS7 and DD4) loves Chef Mickey's. I would say to do buffets first. The experience we've had with menus has been sort of blah! My kids are picky eaters so at least a buffet gives options for them. We did 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and lunch and preferred the lunch. The food was great and seeing Prince Charming and Cinderella was HUGE for my DD. Hollywood and Vine was great at HS (probably my DD's fave with Oso!) The best food we've found is at the Crystal Palace. Hope that helps a little! :)

At Epcot our favorites are: LeCellier, Coral Reef & Teppon Edo.

At MK we like Crystal Palace for the characters. Ohana for supper is also just a monorail ride away at the Poly. Resort & is very good.

At AK Tusker House safari breakfast w/ characters is awesome! Yak & Yeti for supper is really good too. Flame Tree BQ is a great CS meal there too.

At HS we leave before supper & go elsewhere. Could pick up another meal at Epcot as they choices there are so many. Yachtsmann's steakhouse is really really good but is a signature restaurant.

At DTD Wolfgang Puck Express is CS & it is really good too.

Our family really like O'Hana for Breakfast. Chef Mickey is also great. I loved Le Cellier. Also Coral Reef. Look into some of the Resort restaurants, we have always had good luck with them.

Our Family favorites:
AK:Tusker House Breakfast buffet (good food, great juice and good character interaction...a must for our son on every Disney Trip). We loved Yak and Yeti lunch at Ak
MK:we always have lunch at CP (good selection of food and our son loves the characters there)
Epcot: we love LeCellier, Chefs De France and our new favorite is Via Napoli
HS: (our son favorite character meal at Hollywood and Vine breakfast) and lunch or dinner Brown Derby...my husband loves this place
Resort restuarants:Narcoosee's, Grand Floridian Cafe, Cape May breakfast, Citricos, Flying Fish and Jiko

Here's what I think. :thumbsup2

MK: Crystal Palace for any meal, good food, great characters or Chef Mickey's. I personally hate Chef Mickey's, but I think everyone should give it a shot and form their own opinion. I think that about all restaurants actually.

Epcot: Le Cellier if you can get it for lunch (not worth 2TS credits dinner will be come March), Via Napoli if you can't get in at Le Cel. I'm so very interested in the pizza there and will be a great use of a TS credit.

DHS: We LOVE Sci Fi. It gets mixed reviews, but see my previous statement about giving all restaurants that interest you and form your own opinion.

AK: Hand's down, Tusker House for breakfast. Great food, great characters. Some people think it's rushed, crowded, and loud. I have two little girls and we loved it. I'm not there for a "slow" meal. :cool1:

So there we go. Recommendations for each park, including options to get you your 2 character meals. Stop back by and let us know what you decided on.

You picked all my favourites!

Great suggestions!
Agree with OP's-if you're wanting 2 character meals, Crystal Palace in MK (I hear it's good for any meal); Tusker House for breakfast in AK; Le Cellier lunch for the Epcot day, then back to Biergarten after your DHS day. Sounds like a great plan to me!! The only one I haven't done is CP and we'll get to try it our for breakfast in 21 days!!

Haha, I'm in the same position as you with the Biergarten/Le Cellier issue! Good luck! :)

Our favorites...

Epcot: Le Cellier, Coral Reef, and Chefs de France (if you time it right, you may even get to see Remy!)

Hollywood Studios: We loved the Brown Derby, but it counts as 2. We also loved the atmosphere at Sci-Fi, but the food was not good. Maybe someone can recommend something they like there, but the best suggestion I've heard so far is to go at an off-time and just have ice cream OOP.

Never found a place we really like at Magic Kingdom, but it is fun to take the monorail and do 'Ohana with the kids (and have a drink).

The best character meal we had was breakfast at Chef Mickey's (DS only wants to try places with Mickey, so we have only been to a few). We're hoping to try it for dinner this trip. 'Ohana for breakfast was terrible!

Best steak on property is at walt disney world swan at "shula's"
hollywood studios-sci-fi dine in

Favorites by Park: Preface this by saying favorite does not always mean best food. For example we like the breakfast buffets for getting in the parks early and character interaction. Other we like the food and atmosphere.

AK: Tusker House Breakfast
MK: Crystal Palace Breakfast
The Plaza (but on the DDP I would pay oop for this as it is almost as inexpensive as CS)
Columbia Harbour House CS is our favorite
HS 50's PT for lunch only
Epcot Le Cellier lunch
Sunshine Seasons CS
DTD Wolfgang Puck Express

I did not include any signature or resort dining options as you asked for the parks.

We did not enjoy Biergarten
