You don't give yourself much time to visit the MK, especially since it is July & will be pretty crowded.

I see you'll arrive early for EMH so that is a good start. But with a sitdown lunch (which by the way we always enjoy 1 meal at the Plaza per trip!) & then needed to be at MGM for 6 pm dinner at Sci-Fi, that is not a lot of time.

The transportation from MGM to MK takes about an hour. You have to take the boat/monorail to TTC & then a bus to MGM. This is the only park to park tranporation I have done without a car & I was surprised how long it took. On top of that you have to give yourself time to go through bagcheck, turnstiles & walking to the restaurant. So I see you leaving MK no later than 4 pm.

It shows your kids are a little older, but without a return to MK that might not be enough time to see all you want when you consider the time you'll be waiting in line for attractions.

And, while viewing Wishes from the Poly is nice, it is much better from inside the park. For the old fireworks, it didn't matter as much & to me was pretty much equal. But Wishes is so much more...it will lose a lot of effect from so far out. It will be just more of a fireworks show & not the story being told.

Hope that Cape May & Teppanyaki are good...we're trying those on our next trip to the world.

Thanks for your help- I assumed the Plaza would be pretty quick- and we plan to return to Mk after the 1st day- we have park hoppers- since it'll be hot and crowded.. Also, we are staying near Epcot, MGM so we can monorail to Epcot and walk to MGM-both are close to our resort. I thought the same about Wishes- we can just hop on the monorail when we finish dinner at Ohana's.
