Newbie Intro!

Hi Crafters!

I just found this forum and thought I'd pop in and introduce myself!

My name is Faith, I'm a student studying to become a social studies and reading teacher (graduating next December), and I'm getting married at WDW next December woohoo.

I do a lot of papercrafts- mostly cardmaking- but am starting to get back into hand painting glass!

I have a ton of DIY projects planned for the wedding too.

Just wanted to introduce myself and start chatting and sharing ideas with you ladies!

welcome! I'm not here as much as I used to be but hoping that after I finish the holiday baskets helper project I took on for the flood victims I'll be here alot more.
this little corner of the boards is a great family I'd be lost with out them. They are here when you're up and down. They check in on you when your area of the world has a diaster (in my case Irene). and are always here to pick you up dust you off and help you start over.

We are making our own Save the Dates and invites, to start!

I'm making a zip up sweatshirt with the word "Bride" on the back as well as shirt for my mom and future mother in law! We are making newsletters, out of town bags, a cardbox, and I'm going to glass etch my own sand ceremony vases! Whew! Thank goodness I have plenty of time!

hmmmm do you have a cutting machine, if so which one (please don't be cricut - it no longer works with 3rd party software)

I'm a little late to the welcome party, but welcome to this corner of the DIS, Faith!

I don't get on here nearly as often as I used to now that I'm in school full-time (pursuing my doctorate), working part-time, volunteering part-time, and of course house, hubby, and puppy to take care of!

Where in WDW are you getting married? We were married at Wilderness Lodge on Sunrise Terrace and it was the most perfect day
