I am not new to the DIS boards or to traveling to Disney. I am also not new to the gain/lose yo-yo. But its January 1st and I am bigger than I've ever been. I don't want to live this way and I want to be HEALTHY for my Disney trip in May and for the rest of my life. I have a DS who will be 16 in 4 days and I want to be around to take HIS children to Disney.
I've made changes overnight. I have a food plan (changing how/what I eat) and I have joined a gym to start using the treadmill (I think that's about all I can do right now). I am a size 22 and would like to lose about 80 pounds in the next year.
I have seen so much success here in the past. I KNOW I will be supported here!!! Just wanted to say Hello
and start my journey with some understanding folks who might be able to help me!!

My husband was severely overweight (about 325 pounds) and he lost 100 pounds in less than one year simply by walking and changing his diet. He is now is about 200 pounds and has kept the weight off for over 5 years now and is possibly the most fit person I have ever met - it can be actually quite annoying at times
