Hey. I'm looking to create an in room celebration. It's our very first time staying on Disney property. We love the welcome banners for the door. Any suggestions for making it?? Or any suggestions for decorating the place and making this as legit as possible??

Hi Hon
I always check out Dollar tree stores and they have alot of "Mickey" themed party stuff.
I would check there first to see what you can find. They pack flat and well.

Curling ribbon ,magnets and painters tape are your best friend for "Non" damage to resort room walls/doors.
Glow sticks cracked and placed in an empty clear water bottle make a great design.
Buy a regular banner and add images of the characters to banner.
Pick a color theme.
Use beach buckets/paper boxes to fill with treats/small gifts.
Add fun things you might use on your Holiday,,lip balm, sun screen, towels, water bottle, gum,
Disney mini face cloths, disposable camera, sun hat, baseball cap etc.
Have a great time planning

Hello!
I am also wanting to plan a DIY. Can we hang banners outside the door? Any suggestions where to get any? or what the ones they put up look like? I want to do princess theme type stuff. I was thinking of some of the things in the princess one they offer. A dress for her princess breakfast etc. Any more ideas are welcome.

Thanks

Hi
have a look here to see how Disney Floral does the Princess Welcome.
http://disneyworld.disneyfloralandgifts.com/category/characters-themes/disney+princesses.do?nType=1

I have done a princess welcome for my grandaughter
I would not hang a door banner on the outside of the door---theft
Here are a few things I did

: inexpensive necklace and bracelet set from walmart--wrapped in a small box
: princess banner from the dollar store.
: wand and tiara from Claire's boutique
: Princess autograph book -local disney store
: Welcome to Disney Princess letter,,made by myself
: Cinderella's pearl cage--bought online at Amazon--made and gave her a coupon for Pick` A` Pearl at Epcot
: Princess bubbles--just dollar store wedding bubbles
: Princess glow wand--dollar store
: Princess Ariel beach towel/Giant Tiger
: I bought a few Disney Princess bags and one special box from the dollar store
: Disney Princess nail polish and lip balm--dollar store
: Pink/Purple/Blue/White pastel balloons
: small box of chocolates
: Disney Princess T shirt--Target/Walmart
: Disney Princess nightgown-- Walmart
: Pink slippers /Giant Tiger
: Purple/ Pink streamers./Dollar store
: Purple/Pink curling ribbon. / Dollar store
: flower petals--Michaels
: TuTu skirt
: Princess Flip Flops /Walmart
: Princess gift tags--made by myself,,you could just buy Princess dollar store cards and cut up to make tags.
Invitation to CRT for Breakfast--I just made her one myself.

Disneys price tag is $425.00
You can do one for a fraction of that price.
Best wishes and have fun planning
Hugs Mel
