We are approaching the 11 month window for booking our home resort and I don't yet have activation code. I know this is needed to get on website and bank points but do I need it for booking if I call the 800 number and book that way. Tia
 
:) All you need to book by phone is the DVC Member number...if you do not have that just explain your situation and I am sure they will accommodate you. Surely your name is in their system.
 
Since your home is VGF you must have bought from Disney. Just call and they should give you your activation information and set you up with your online account very quickly. If you are running into any trouble contact your guide for help- if you are having trouble being ready to make your first reservation your guide should be able to take care of it for you (possibly even before the 11 month window).
