Which one is the better deal??
QVC for $229.40 with the pens or Michaels for $229 with the extras

Or can I find this somewhere else cheaper.

Or Should I just wait until the 12x12 comes out???

I probably won't be starting anytime soon but when school starts I will be trying to get 5yrs of pictures into books.

I have the Cricut and love it. I don't see my self getting the new machine. I don't see the need for 12 inch cut outs. I don't know the differance between Michael's and QVC, I'm not sure what the markers do. The tool kit is a must IMO. The Cricut is the best thing to happen to scrap booking.

The markers doodle the text and pics instead of cutting it out. And the QVC one has a new cartridge that is only exclusive to QVC. I am actually leaning toward getting that one for the different cartridge. The markers will be available after CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) in July. Other than that there are no real differences. I don't think I would get the big one because it is not portable and I share a lot of my tools with my neighbors. We rotate houses so hauling the big one would be a pain.

And welcome mommyoftwinfants!!!:cool1:

The reason I was considering the 12x12 is because next year will be my 1st year of teaching and think that it will come in handy for my classroom so I don't have spend a bundle purchasing stuff for my bb for all the different seasons and themes. I will be moving to a new town so don't think I would be trading projects with anyone anytime soon. I have always wanted to start scrap booking but being a Single Stay at Home Mom of twins I don't have time to do anything without them trying to Help!!! and when my parents watch them for me I am at my Store making sure everything is being taken care of or at the Library trying to get everything ready for my Summer Reading Program.

Honestly, the big Cricut only makes sense for teachers, and other centers that would use the big letters on a wall or board, IMHO. For general scrapbook purposes, the small machine is fine...ya know?

If I was a teacher, I think I would be checking into the bigger one...but I'm just a scrapbooker, so it's too much machine for me. And mine gets use A LOT! Love my bug!!!

Thank you all so much I think I will just wait until July to figure out what I want to do, I know I am getting one just don't know which one.
