We are going in May with a preschooler.

I thought I had read somewhere at MGM you could attend live tapings of the actual shows..is this true? Or or you simply attend say "Playhouse DIsney Live" show?

We hope to go to AK first morning then MGM that afternoon and MK the next day. Is this to ambitious. There are certain rides & entertainment we are planning not to do becuase of the age of our daughter...ie, Space Mountain, etc..

Any tips or info will be greatly appreciated!:sunny:

The day you plan on going to MK make sure you plan to be there at least 30 mins before the park opens and head towards the castle. You want to go through the castle and go directly to Fantasy land so you can get on all those rides with your pre-schooler. Otherwise by midday the waits will be crazy. Hit Dumbo first since its the most popular ride in that land. Then after you finish Fantasy land you can head over to toontown when you get to the judges tent go in the door and bare right there will be i think 3 different lines Cinderella is usually always in there just ask the CM at the door. Have fun! :sunny:

To answer your question about Playhouse Disney - yes you just attend a show, not the taping of a show. Make sure you get in line early because you sit on the floor and the closer you are to the front of the line, the closer you sit to the stage. My DD loves this show and so do we. I am a big Bear in the Big Blue House fan and I love getting close to the stage just to see Bear (yes I am 32 yrs old:) ).

When it comes to the rest of your schedule, it sounds good. AK in the morning is wise. When you go, head immediately to the safari because the animals are more active in the morning when it is cooler, than later on when it starts to get hot and they are looking to lay in the shade.

When you go MGM, The Voyage of the Little Mermaid is right by Playhouse Disney Live and that is a terrific show if your child likes The Little Mermaid.

When you go MK, I agree with the previous post about going to Fantasyland first. Remember to go to Toon Town also, and try to do it earlier in the day so the lines will hopefully not be to dreadfully long to see ::MickeyMo . Our first year with our DD we went at 2pm and waited almost 2 hours to see ::MickeyMo . If you go and the lines are horribly long to see::MickeyMo I am going to make a suggestion to you. There is a place in Disney Marketplace called "Studio M" where you can have a professional picture taken of your family w/::MickeyMo and you can also have time to interact w/::MickeyMo also. It will probably cost you about $30-$40, but it sure beats waiting in line for 2 hours when you could be spending that time doing other things.

Also, at MK, if the day starts getting long and hot, go to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and sit on that for awhile to unwind and cool down for awhile. We always make a point to go on this in the middle of the day and we all love it. Sometimes my DD will lay w/ her head in my lap and close her eyes to just rest a little bit. The CM's are really nice and will let you stay on for more than one trip if you ask (the lines for this are never long at all, if there is a line).

I hope you have a great time:wave:
