I've never been to WDW, and I just booked a trip for March 21-25, 2011 (my DH is a teacher, so we are quite limited on when we can go, infortunately). My two kids, 10 and 8, are absolutely ecstatic.

This is so scary/exciting - we've never flown before, we've never been to WDW before, and we have about 182 days before we arrive. Yes, we're already counting.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as our trip comes closer.

First off, welcome to the Disobards! You'll soon realize that they can become quite addictive.

Second, congrats on booking your first trip to Disney World. I so wish I knew about the Disboards back when I was planning our first trip. My son was just 1 and my daughter was just 11 when we first visited. They are now 13 and 23 and have 15 trips under their belts.

Please feel free to come join my latest trip report....Who Knew Choking.... All you gotta do is click on the link below. I love having new readers.

Welcome Fellow Hoosier. This is a great place for all kinds of info.

I have friends and family who have stayed at Pop and loved it.

Feel free to post any questions you may have about WDW and we'll be glad to answer them for you.

Pop is a Fun Resort. Are you using Magical Express? Or Renting a car.

We're using the Magical Express. Assuming our tickets don't change, we should arrive in Orlando at 9:30am Monday - I'm hoping that even though March is a busy time, our Monday morning arrival will mean we won't have huge lines for the ME or for checking in at Pop.

From Indianapolis: Welcome!

Yes, arriving on Monday and leaving Friday should be far better... MCO is crazy on weekends.

Welcome Hoosier!! I too found this board while planning my families first trip two summers ago. I am also a teacher and understand the limitations on travel days you have. Have fun reading and don't be afraid to ask for suggestions. People on this board are fantastic and always willing to help and offer advice. Obviously read and make decisions based upon your family and what you think they want to do and can handle!!!! Have a great trip!!! I just booked our second family Disney Vacation for next summer!!

It's always wonderful to find a fellow Hoosier on the DisBoards. This forum is so addicting, I'm on it all the time - seeing what other people are doing at Disney and reading other trip reports as I get ready to go to Disney in November.

I'm going with my fiance  and this will be the first time I have ever stayed on Disney property!!! I'm super excited :banana::banana:

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as it gets closer to time for us to leave. Right now it seems so far away, I don't it will ever arrive.

I pass my time between Disney trips by reading trip reports, excessive Disboarding, planning dining reservations, etc. If I didn't do those things, I'd probably lose my sanity....what little there is left of it.:upsidedow

Welcome to the boards! Have a great trip.

Welcome fellow Hoosier!!! I'm way dow in the Southwest tip, near Evansville. We have stayed at Pop 3 times and will be there again in 4 weeks! It is a great place! My DD is 8, too, and she loves its bright colors!!! My TR links in my siggie were both at Pop! Have fun!
