Newbie-Disney during Easter Break ??

Hi , looking for advise regarding taking my family (2children 2 adults) to DW. during or around Easter Break.I am balancing between taking my 14 and 12 year old out of school a week prior or the week after or going during easter Break.

What are crowds and costs like during and around Easter Break ??

New to DW, so I am starting from scratch.

Are you talking about going this year?

The week before Easter, the week of Easter and usually the week after Easter are historically three of the busiest and most expensive weeks of the entire year. The week of Easter the parks, MK in particular, are known to close early in the day because the crowds are at capacity levels. The week after Easter may not be as busy as it has been in previous year, due to Easter being super late this year, but I think that's just speculation.

If you are willing to take the kids out of school, or are taking the kids out of school, I'd wait until the second week of May, the crowds and prices would be MUCH lower.

Unless it is your absolute only option I would avoid the parks at Easter. It so crowded to the point that it is hard to enjoy yourself.

But I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip, whenever you decide to go.
