Newbie DIS Lover with a ?

Hi all you wonderful Disney Lovers , I used to feel so alone with my "Disney Obsession" until I finally found all of you wonderful people, and now I am addicted to these boards! It started out with just reading the posts, now I can't help but join in! I hardly get any sleep any more .

I get so much enjoyment out of the trip reports, and now have my DD hooked as well. She's a wonderful little writer and dreams of writing her own TR after our upcoming August Mother/Daughter trip . My "Newbie Question" is whether or not it is OK for my DD to post to these boards, and if it is OK, should she have her own signature or write under mine????

I'm not 100% sure if there is an age limit or not, but there are other mother/daughter posters on here. There are plenty of kids on here, the youngest person I've met has been 13, but all have their own signature. I think it would be great to see a TR from your DD. Also your DD might want to check out the teen site to talk to other kids her age. Hope you all have a great trip.

I can't answer your question. But I completely understand about your obsession. I have it too I also hope you have a wonderful time on your Mother daughter trip!!

Welcome to the Dis! If you check FAQ's at the top of each page there is a section about "why should you register"under general forum usage, it mentions something about age 13 and parental consent!Hope this helps!

Totally understand the obsession part...unfortunately my DH does not! He thinks I am crazy and addicted. But I guess I am addicted. Oh well, maybe I will cut back a little after our August trip, but probably not.
