Newbie BCV owner- need reservation clarification

Hi all- we are new BCV owners- passed ROFR and are sending payment the end of the week. We are trying to figure out the best way for us to get our October 2015 reservation- here's some facts- any help is much appreciated

We have October use year BCV and will get 174 of the 2014 points which will need to be banked, then October 1, 2015 we will get our 220 points.

Here's what we want to do.

Rent 2 two bedroom BCV from Oct 25, 2015 to November 1, 2015. Total point value is 556 points-

Can we call November 25, 2014 and use our banked points, 2015 points and borrow from our 2016 points to make the reservation?

We need to go these exact dates to make it work for everyone, so is it best to "walk" the reservation from a week earlier? I don't want to have to do that, but we've waited a long time to make this trip happen for everyone involved and I don't want to take the chance that we might not get the exact dates we need with the rooms we need.

1. Yes, you can book as you've described.

2. No, you do not need to walk a reservation for precisely eleven months out over those days. Maybe between Christmas and New Years, but not those dates.

Get online at 8 am at you eleven month window and all will be fine. It will still probably be okay if you wait until MS opens at 9a, but there's no good reason to risk it. Just book it yourself at 0800.

BCV is in need of a make over and reports are that they have started working on the BC. It can take more than a year for them to finish so you might be in the middle of construction.

Also have an idea which of the 2BR units you prefer: 2BR dedicated with 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom, 2BR dedicated with 1 queen and 1 sleeper in 2nd bedroom, or 2BR lockoff. All are likely to be available at the 11-month window. (2BR-2Q are the most limited in number).

Also - you are no longer "renting" rooms - you're a DVC owner! You are merely reserving a stay in your rooms.
