Wish I had done that, but I got engaged in 1987...long before DVC existed. I just did the down on one knee, "will you marry me?" You know the routine, it leaves them in tears every time!

DH and I made a major purchase together - bought a house - before we got married and everyone thought we were nuts. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at WDW next month. Just because you're not married yet it is not a foregone conclusion that you won't be. And I'm glad we didn't listen to everyone's advice - we got a nice head start in life because we didn't.
