Congrats to the Yanks! You would think a 7-3 score wouldn't be nerve wracking but it was. I did not want Utley up in the 9th with 2 men on.

Yes I am going to the parade. I actually work close to the parade route, but I took the day off so I can get there earlier. I went to see the Giants parade a few years back from work and I was about 20 people deep by the time I got there.

Well I was on one of the side streets and it's harder to get close. You need to get onto Broadway to see. But I got there just as the parade was arriving so it was too late. Plus I work on Wall st which is mobbed with people to begin with.

This is so exciting!!! We are Mets fans in my household, but if someone other than the Mets wins the WS, we're very glad to see it be the Yankees. (And take THAT Philadelphia for spoiling the Giants' chance to make into the Superbowl last year.)

I remember the 1986 ticker tape parade in NYC like it was yesterday. So much fun! I worked in 25 Broadway on the 16th floor. I can't believe all the paper we threw out the window. It was great!

Thanks! And to top it off tomorrow night i am going to see my favorite band, Theory of a Deadman!! I have seen them twice before and had a meet and greet with them. So i really got two great presents!

I went. Had a great time. Got there around 9 and had a pretty decent spot. Got a few nice pics, but was hard with the floats moving and it being so crowded.
