It appears that my son's chess section (CT State tournament) is actually playing on Sunday instead of Saturday like I originally thought. Her really wants me to accompany him, and even if I did send my husband, it would be hard for him to be at a chess tournament all day with our other two kids by himself.

So...here's my idea. The tournament is at the Greenwich Hyatt. I think that we should have the meet there so that we can attend and my son can trade in between chess games. Whaddya say??

Seriously, though, I'm bummed....and so is he!!

I would love that!! It's a lot of sitting around and waiting during (and in-between for David) games.

I am just grinning from ear to ear thinking about this!! And David is too!

His games are at 10, 12, 2, 4 and 6. Each game lasts no more than an hour, and parents have to stay outside the playing area (so I usually bring a book!). It's at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency, 1800 E. Putnam Ave., Old Greenwich CT ....exit 5 off of 95.

Let me know. I'm so excited!!
