NEW YORK 2016 CRUISES planning & info thread. NYC

I can answer that This is correct, but you don't have to walk a few blocks. You just have to cross 12th Avenue and meet your car on the northbound side.

Thanks! Is it pedestrian friendly? We have 3 kids and will have all our luggage with us (unless a porter will follow us that far).

Yes. There is a clearly marked crosswalk with walk/don't walk signage.

Has this changed since fall 2017? Our car service picked us up outside of the terminal at street level, and we saw a number of cruise passengers do the same. We did not have to cross 12th Ave.

Was it easy to figure out which driver was yours? I assume they are holding signs?

Our driver picked us up right on front of the terminal too. We didn’t have to walk anywhere. He was driving a black unmarked Suburban, so maybe that’s why???

Our driver has always picked us up at the terminal - there's no reason we need to traipse anywhere with our luggage. Our drivers typically pick us up on the lower (street) level but there is a pick-up area (and taxi stand) on one of the upper levels. Car services that make you cross over to them are doing it for their convenience - they cannot park and wait at the terminal so they usually wait on the street and have you come find them -- I refuse to use a service that would do this.

Thank you both! This is exactly what I was trying to figure out. For some reason all I could find online were reports from people who said you had to cross the street. I'll verify with the service that I want to be picked up at the terminal.

When we got off the Magic in September we crossed the street. Maybe it was, easier to avoid the congestion
