New Years...Where to go??

Wanting 3-4 nights at a wonderful snowy Chalet for New Years. Looking at Stowe, Vermont ..just wondering where anyone else may have been? We live in Canada (outside Toronto) and are okay with a 6 hr drive or so..

I never go anywhere for New Years, but Stowe is a probably a nice town if you are looking for a quiet holiday. The Stowehof is very cozy.

We went to Breckinridge, CO a few NYE ago. It was a wonderful place to spend the new years and the skiing was outstanding, but too far for your trip.

Stowe sounds lovely. We haven't been, but if you do end up going be sure to do a trip report! Happy planning!
