New Years Wait-List chances

We are going 12/30 thru 1/5 and I am already freaked out about crowd levels. Our family is in kind of the same boat, trying to balance kids in different schools. Our window of family vacations are starting to close because of kid's working, school events/schedules...

We have 1/1 thru 1/5 at BCV (our home resort) with the first 2 nights of 2 rooms at CBR.

It will be busy -- but still will be fun. We just have to remember to manage expectations. It may be extremely crowded but: We live outside of Pittsburgh -- so it will most likely be about 40 degrees warmer at WDW, we arrive on 12/31 so hopefully we can get into the MK for NYE which has to be the 2nd best place to welcome in the new year (behind Times Square), we get to see the last showing of Holiday wishes, Osborne lights will still be up and the Christmas decorations and music will still be all around extending the season just a little longer. We won't be able to ride our fav rides 3-4 times a day like our other trips but it sure will beat work, school, college and winter weather.

You'll be fine after January 1. You will probably have the place to yourselves then We are going Dec. 24 thru 29th, but not planning on doing parks, which is sad, but we just can't take the crowds. Been there done that and to us it's miserable Sending you pixie dust for your trip
