New Years Sales?

Hi all-as we are visiting orlando over the new year period im wondering if anyone knows if they have the sales on over the new year like we do.
If anyone has any info on when they start and the best places to go it would be most welcome.

Hi dor1. Most shopes will have sales in the New Year period, but they tend not to be of the 'Jan 1 Blockbuster' style we see in the UK. There is a lot of sales-type activity in Jan and Feb to encourage buyers at a usually quiet time of the year, but the really BIG sales day is called Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in November each year, when stores open at 4 or 5am (!!) to the serious bargain-hunters. To be honest, in Orlando there are pretty much sales on somewhere year-round, and the prices are generally so much lower than the UK it always seems like there is a sale on!
