New Years Fantasy Ballyhoo Bash 2012-2013

Hi all, We are Booked and ready to cruise 3rd dcl cruise and first on the Fantasy... NYE should be awesome...

Im planning now my family & I will be on the Fantasy next month for her 3rd cruise!

Lucky! It's killing my DH that our Spring Break is the week before the inaugural cruise so we couldn't do it. But we do have the Wonder to Alaska in a few months, so I told him we can just be patient and wait to see the Fantasy until the end of the year.

We are joining you all on this NYE cruise! Can not wait! We sailed our first cruise this past Christmas on the Disney Wonder's Mexican Riviera Cruise and we are hooked. We surprised our 3 boys with that cruise and this NYE cruise will be a surprise for them as well, only they will find out about this one Christmas day, unlike the last one, where we surprised them right before we went to the dock in LA. Any way, super excited to be joining you all on this one. In two weeks we are cruising the Magic for our 2nd cruise, so I'm hoping we will be pro's my New Years. Looking forward to getting to know you all and attending meet & greets on the ship. Probably won't be doing fish extenders as fun as it all sounds, I just don't want to pack anything more than we'll need. I tend to pack a lot and where they weigh those suitcases I don't want to chance it. Cruising will be me (Marissa), my husband (John) and our 3 boys, (JJ 9, Nick 8 and Will 5).

may be joining you all on this cruise, have placed a hold and will deciede later today if we will in fact move our current august cruise to this one. It is a little more costly but new years on the fantasy sounds great! Plus I would love to see san juan, works out well for dh as he would be off work at that point in time and the 2 grandkids that are coming will be out of school, and add the fact that it will be decorated with xmas decorations is another reason to switch!Im really excited about this possibility, just need to speak with my daughters about the change in dates and be sure it is okay with them.The 2 grandkids Jordan 16 and Tori 15 have cruised on the magic with us before and loved it! This will be our 3rd disney cruise and I know wont be the last! Took another grandson Logun for his first cruise last January also was on the magic, the fantasy looks amazing and cant wait to sail on her! Will post later today and let you know if in fact I did the change, keeping my fingers crossed it works out !

I've posted a "menu" of things that can be done a few pages back so you may have an idea on what to sign in for.

I'm thinking we should wait for a few Fantasy sailing so more people will get the NYE Cruise Bug, so what does the forum think a good date to be for all of us to start organizing things here ?

As I'm sure all have seen the pictures and the videos of The Disney Fantasy, she looks Fantastic, doesn't she ? I cant help feeling I'm cheating on my first love, Disney Magic

I think a good date to start organizing would be a couple of weeks after the first Fantasy cruises. They are about a week each, yes? So that puts the date somewhere around mid or late April?

I think we can start planning when we're six months out, but not close it to anyone until much closer to the cruise (for whomever takes over the FE duties.)

I just booked my Palo's and excursions for my June cruise to Alaska on the Wonder. I really wish I could sneak one more cruise in between then and New Year's so I'd be Platinum for the NYE cruise.

I saw that video too. It's amaizing how they take everyones drawings and make them interactive and then at the end your own signatures I hope you can get a copy of that video to take home

we're joining this one. It will be me megan (16 at the time of sailing) and Sharon. We were on the baltic ballyhoo with you all (RJAYL) in july 2010!! I can tell it's gonna be a good group once again!! We'd love to do the fish extender too. We don't know our room number though.
