I know NYE at DLR is packed, but how are the 3-4 days AFTER NYE? (Jan 1-4 or so)? I think it would be great to spend NYE at DL, but I would'nt want huge crowds the entire time I am there. Coming from Oklahoma (GO SOONERS!), we don't get to come enough, so I like to ride the attractions as much as I can! TIA!!!:hyper:

<font color=navy>With New Years falling on Thursday this year, I expect that the parks will still be pretty busy that weekend.

Yeah, speaking from experience, it will definately still be busy, at least until after the 4th.

we're staying till the 3rd if that makes it easier ;) thats two less people to deal with :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I would expect mega crowds the entire time (I know I am for Dec 30 - Jan 4). But don't let it get you down. Just make good use of FP, get there early and stay late, with a park break mid day (12 - 5) while the park is at its most busy.

In the 22 years I lived in SoCal, I never saw DL as crowded as it was this past Jan 2nd. 90 million rowdy college football fans and whoever else came for the Rose Parade. DW and I didn't even go in it was so bad :( If you are more into rides, you can go to Knott's Berry Farm which is about 10 minutes away in Buena Park. They turn it into a kind of a Christmas theme in December (when they call it Knott's MERRY Farm). Have fun, and if you do go to DL in the crowds, consider buying the helmet version of the mouse ears ;)
