Here's one. Where was this taken?

OK Ok you made me do it. I went & found the video & that is the one. The song was "I want you back" The screen was behind them & there were stars on the curtain.

I actually forgot where that photo was taken, but seeing the stars on the curtain, isn't that Studio Sea?

Perhaps you forgot where it was taken because you weren't there. I was there because I was wandering around & happen to go in there. All of his friends were there & they were taking pics like crazy. I also just happened to have my video camera with me. The curtain with the stars on it was a temporary thing.

Yes, thank goodness you were there to record that! It's the one thing I regret on that cruise...missing that karoake night.

It was on Deck 4 Mid ship

i think Studio sea is a little bigger...we only played bingo once & that was in Rockin Bar D....Studio Sea had "Who Wants to be a Mousketeer" alot in it, and we only went there once to meet for an excursion....i think i need more than 7 days on that ship to take full advantage of ALL it has to offer

Good news! Chad has an apartment in Rome for the summer! It's 600 euros for 6 weeks, "meters" away from his campus (the apartment is 20 Via di Santa Maria Mediatrice, and the university is 24 Via di Santa Maria Mediatrice!), AND with a view of the top of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican from his balcony! Someone from the school knew a student who was moving out from there, and gave Chad the landlord's name and email. He has some pictures, and right now I'm going to ask him to send them to me so I can post them. Just wanted to share my good news, and my relief that this is resolved. It looks immaculate in the pictures, and I've been praying that he'll find a clean, decent place, and it looks like my prayers have been answered, and them some!

I have to get some cooking going, so I'll BBL.

Tiggie, I PMed you with some news. I spoke to the Recreation Director at Rockaway Care Center, and she's interested in buying 10 photos for $10 each, just the photos, not in a book. You would retain all rights and ownership to your photos, as they want to pay you for their use. Details in the PM.

More about Chad's apartment...it's a two-bedroom, each with private bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. So he'll be having an apartment-mate. I still haven't gotten the pictures from Chad, as he's dealing with some personal issues, and hasn't been in the mood to be too accommodating when I keep asking him to email me the pictures. He's under some stress right now, so I don't want to push anything, trying to help him regain his peace and balance. No matter how old your kids get, as a parent your heart still breaks when they get hurt, and especially when there's nothing you can do as a parent but just give them love and support. He'll be ok. My baby.

Brenda, what time is Ryan usually on XBox? Jesse said he hasn't seen him, and I encouraged to check from time to time so that they can play together. Jesse is all for it. I know they both have their friends that they play with, but they can still jump into each others games. What do you think?

i agree - we need to hook these two up!!!! he's usually on later at night (8ish or so depending on homework etc.), also Sunday nights for sure...we usually don't go anywhere....he has to be home & there's nothing on TV for him . During the wk - now that he's playing baseball - his schedule has changed yet again....he decided to just go out for JV BB (rather than varsity) so he would have a chance to play more - he's not all that great - but enjoys it, and there are some other juniors on that team that he likes to hang with...but anyway, next time he's playing online - i'll send you a msg (do you get texts?)

Sounds great, Aisling! Sorry to hear Chad's stressed at the moment - hope everything gets resolved asap. It's horrid when our big kids suffer - I know I always want to charge right in there to sort things out for them but obviously have to hold myself back and respect the fact that it's their life now!!! I swear it was easier when they were little... Anyway, my fingers are well and truly crossed for Chad...

Are you kidding, he said if I dare step foot in Italy while he's there, he'll disown me! He wants to do this all on his own, and doesn't want mama and bro and cruisematefriend to make sure he has enough food in the fridge and make his bed and baby him which I'd surely do! But thanks for the dream!

However...Brenda, I believe is going to be there at the same time, and I'd love it they can meet, without mama I mean, so that he feels like he's all grown up!
