I was ebaying, and then checking out how to drive from NYC to Cali. I turn 50 in 4 years, and I have to have some adventures planned or else I may become depressed over where my life is going. So planning a solo cross country road trip gets my engines racing.

I saw you were chatting with your repo cruise mates, and when I got back to your name to check, the little green light in your siggie was already off.

I took an ambien, and I still cant sleep. It usually knocks me out within 15 minutes, but I wasn't supposrd to take it on a full stomach, so its taking a year and a day to do its thing.

Nan I really want to see you girls in Cali in August.

if we can't hook up a playdate (the 11th?) before I start school (the 17th) we will work on setting up another day for sure~I want to come visit you!

I think the 11th is fine. Is there anytrhing special youd like to see or do? If we stay in my neighborhood in the city, we can go to Coney Island, you can see the studio where As The World Turns is filmed, we can see John Gotti's house, we can go to my house and you can show me how to set up my cm software. I can drive down there to get you, and bring u home when you want. you know i like to drive. If yu bring Brit and A, they can play Rock Band with C and J. You can even staay overnight, as I have an apartment downstairs. Let me know!

We can even see Mary Poppins on Broadway if you want...the cheap seats are only $30.

Between September 2012 and June 2013, Dick and I both become 50 and celebrate 30 years of wedded bliss!!! Sooo it's gotta be big!!!

Kay, I've done a bit of selling, mostly video games and gaming systems that my kids grew out of. I'm a buyer, as I'm not much of a "business" person.

I totally missed the part about John(grim) damaging his camera Is it repairable?

My John was very impressed with my getting the pictures of the wolves and managing to eliminate most of the fencing between us in the focus. I could spend another $200 and get a private session with the animals...they would let me further in, only one fence between me and the wolves, and then they open access panels in the fence for my camera and lure the animals over using food and other attention grabbers.

They are gorgeous, mean, animals. You can totally see the meanness in their eyes. These are all purebread wolves that were once captured (for people who think they can domesticate them) and then had nowhere to go when the owners couldn't control them. Wild animals are not allowed (NJ law) back into the wild once they've been captured.

I don't have any travel dates, or even real travel plans. In my ambien-induced stupor, I thought I read that Brenda, Kaz, you, and Debbie will all be in Cali at the same time (duh, I know, but Kaz is making an August trip there I think), and I wanted to crash the party!

well we're almost even....i can't go anywhere without my Treo....

Aisling, I will be in Cali with DH and Samuel! We arrive in LAX on August 9th, set sail on the Magic August 10th and return on August 17th. We transfer to DLH before leaving for London on August 23rd. I don't know if those dates will work for you, but would be lovely to meet ya!
