Kaz, that gold gown was $79, and I found it on an EBay shop. I have a one-track mind with the gold, but it's so New Year's Eve-ish!

Aisling, I wasn't too keen on the notion of a gold frock to start with but TBH I am definitely warming! I've seen a gorgeous dark gold number - just can't find the darn link... OMG for $79 that dress is a steal!!!! :goodvibes

Kaz, if you find the link, please post it. I'd love to see the dress.

Just thought I'd throw in a pair of shoes. They don't match anything I have, but they're purty!

Kaz, I am in Orlando from the 27th to the 30th. We fly home around 845 on Sunday night. Rose and I plan on being in Epcot all day the 29th.

Do you fly home the night of the 29th or on the 30th?

I'd like to make time to meet you if that's possible.

Tomorrow I'm gonna get all sorts of clever and post a pic of my vow renewal shoes - they're pretty cool... :cloud9:

You've probably had enough of my dress posts, but one more, pleeeeeeease...

I actually have this dress, and hoping to wear it on Palo night.

I like the empire waist~

You already have your Palo dress?!

Aisling,

I have to ask, did you buy it in your size or a size you want to be?

Kelly, I wrote an answer out to you earlier but computers have not been my friend...

We requested late dining.

We will be dining with our friends in the main dining room for NYE.
(We need to link all our dining ressies btw)

I would like to do a Palo dinner as well.

I would also like to do a Palo brunch, we missed that on the last trip.

In Key West I was looking at using the conch train to get around town and doing our own walking tour. Hemingway's House, any Bar, Key Lime Pie and sunset at the Marina on all on my list for that day. Our next stop has a Pirate Excursion, scavenger hunt, I'd like to try and I want to visit at least one Mayan Ruin.

and no, as Aisling said, we are all planning these things already, it's never too early once you're booked ;)

You, my friend, have motivated me to go upstairs and clean up my "office." I have a room that I've been meaning to turn into an office anyway. John brought me home some carpet squares and I started laying them down to see how it looks. My project is going to take a little longers than yours, it only took me ten years to get this far :faint:
OMG....well have fun girl....it is fun...it is ... it is... it is:rotfl:
So what dinner seating has everyone signed up for??

Palo on NYE-
A girlfriend of mine and her husband did a 4 night NYE cruise a couple of years back.. and she said she wished she HADNT done Palo on NYE as it was the same Palo menu, and that the NYE menu looked great. Said if she had to do it over again, she would stay w/the rotation for that night, and choose another for the upgrade to Palo. What is everyone else planning for that night?? :dance3:

What excursions do you think you might try on this trip. I have done the Western once before, but not w/my DH Brian..

I am totally excited.. and an avid planner.. So some of these questions might seem WAYYYYY to early!!! lol
definitely late seating...we really enjoy that...and no Palo for us NYE...as i will want to be with DS some of that night anyway :-) but totally up for it another day - dinner and brunch for sure!!!!
Sounds bad, Brenda! :sad2: Is it any better now?
YES it is getting less ash with each day...lots and lots of firemen in town ....from all over this state....

When DH and I were younger, we used to change house every 14 months or so and whilst all the remodelling work was exhausting, the almost annual move meant we were always on top of our paperwork - and wouldn't I appreciate that now?!! :rotfl2:

Brenda, it wasn't one of your Cowboys that got hurt,

did you hear about the guy who severed his spine :(

I have hives from cleaning that room yesterday...

next time up there I am hiring somebody to dust it for me first

wow....all those dresses make me want to shop!!!!:woohoo: i had better lose these last 12-15 lbs (that's only like 1 lb a month),....seems very doable..but since i'm at the same weight i was in April....not looking so good for me yet....and that's with the increase in my cardio and weight lifting....UGGGHHHH

yeah it was a guy on the Patriots (i think)....they were playing the Broncos, i just caught it walking by the tv section at costco. it looks really bad....so very sad...these things don't happen tooo much - but when they do....they can just be SOOOOOO horrible....

oh those hives can be horrible...only had them like 1 time....but they lasted days & i was on this 7-day progressive med pack.....let someone else do it girlfriend!!!

It simply sounds like you hit a plateau...your body has gotten all the use out of your current routine it's gonna get. You gotta change what you do. If you are doing the same aerobic routine, change it. If you only use certain machines at the gym, change what you use. If you don't have a physical sport you participate in, get one...(i.e., vollyball, swimming, rollerblading)

I said the same thing to John, it happens but thankfully not too often.

Oh, I will...I sorted thru everything. I only need someone to wipe all of it down. Then I can go back in. I want to put wainscoting on the stairwell wall instead of painting it. The room itself is gonna be painted a really obnoxious color like bicycle yellow ::yes:: We have purple carpet squares and I want to checkerboard the design with another color mixed in with the purple. I know the scheme probably sounds scary but John and I both like it, it'll look good when we are done.

Aisling,

I bought it in my size. I learned my lesson from the last cruise, after wasting money on dresses that never did fit me at cruise time.:guilty:
BUT, this dress can be altered down if I ever get my tush on that bleeping treadmill. And I won't forget my Spanx this time!! So what if I won't be able to breathe...at least I'll look good!
