Aisling....i'm sure the patients you worked with LOVED you dearly...but i can sure see how that can be so heartbreaking....it takes a VERY SPECIAL person to work with the elderly and its just one part of your life that you'll always remember. Now, somehow i just know you don't sit around the house all day watching TV & eating frosting out of a can - SOOOO somehow i just KNOW you are serving a VERY IMPORTANT purpose in life...hummm....wife~mother~friend~and what about your church???? I bet you're doing many things there!!! I look forward to the day when i'm 'ready' to retire and just work with my CM clients more...i'm just not there yet and i really do enjoy being here everyday....

Karen...good luck & congrats on your new venture too!!! Now i gotta go simsonize myself!!!

Hi magic mateys.
we have decied to wait to get our tickets till next year. we have talked to a few ppl who say the longer we wait the better price. We are planing on going but we cant do the down as of yet. we will wait and watch for specials and hope we still get to go.. if for some reson we dont get to go we will try to make some plan for the futre.. We do want to go and will try. but things come up and make you take a steap back and look around. (real life hits)

I hate to be a bearer of bad news Tiffany, but dcl is just the opposite. Esp their holiday cruises...the closer we get to cruise time the higher the price. I hope you do find a discount tho, be sure to let is all know if you find a good deal! Being a dvc member now, is there a chance you could use points to sail?

I tried to simpsonise myself when myspace put it out there, they didn't have the right hair for me so I have that up pretty quick.

This is the only close up that I have of myself, and it's too small to use for the simpsonize program. Tig, do you have any idea of how I can enlarge it to fit the program?

Brenda, you mentioned my church. I've been a 5th grade religion teacher (catechist) for 7 years, and I adore working with the kids! I'm also a Eucharistic minister, so I'm pretty involved with our parish. Chad was an altar server for many years, and worked in the rectory up until he graduated college last May.

Kaz, OMG I'm so glad to know you'll be studying to be a psychotherapist! Lord knows I need one!

Jade, Tig's right about cruise prices going up as it's gets closer. Check into it now, and see what you can do.

I just saw this baby girl on the community board. I would LOVE to have hair that color! I've never dyed my hair, so I'm too scared to try it!

Aisling....try the 'rinses' or temporary colors to see how that color looks and it will just wash out in a day or two...

that baby is unreal....we are just laughing at how cute she is and with that straight up hair!!!!

Morning everyone!!!

I'm in the absolute best mood as I've just found out that my eldest DS, Matty, has got his first post-Uni job!!! I'm sooo proud of him - amazingly he applied for just the one graduate scheme and got through! It's really tough over here to make it onto a grad scheme so he did incredibly well! Oh my, it's such a weight off my mind...

I couldn't check my lottery numbers from the nc powerball, the paper I picked up didn't have the results in it...

We are leaving nc around 4 today, one last trip to the beach and a tshirt run to johns favorite fishing hole.

Great news, Kaz!!!!!!!! It sure is a mixture of relief and pride when our children succeed. But what's a "grad scheme"?

Tig, make the most of your last day there. How do the skies look? I've been hearing that a hurricane may be brewing and heading to where you are.

I just bought some paint, and Chad and I are going to try to have Jesse's room painted before he gets home from school today. He'll sure be surprised! His walls are currently white, but with writing all over them. It started as a joke when I was bit angry with him for not getting his homework done last year, so I wrote on the wall with a marker "ORGANIZATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS", and then it got out of control! He wrote GENIUS with an arrow pointing down to the head of the bed. So now there's everything from the Pythagorean Theorem to the phone number of the pizza delivery on his walls! I got a very cool blue, and he's going to love it. But from now on, we use Post-Its on the wall!

well im gona try to go though the site that is like 50% off or something. and I am just trying to get the 750 for the down and that site told me if i wait theres a big chance there prices going down. But i am still trying to plan on it. I wish i could find a cheaper way to get to FL besieds the plans. train is almost as excpive and takes longer.

The cruise leaves like 2days after christmas lol so we would have to fly the day after christmas.
I still want to do it and think we can just cant put down yet.
points are to much ...well maybe not. maybe I should look and see howmany popints i would need. and stuff.

oh my gosh.....that is SOOO funny!!! don't let him tell Ryan.... i won't let him do anything to the walls (except hang some stuff)...i promised him one of those 3x5 poster boards from Pottery Barn, and need to get that ordered....but if i could get a really good photo of him on his dirt bike catching some air, that would be really cool....as PB will take your photo and make a poster board from it....that will probably never happen though...

I can tell the ocean is churning out off the coast, the waves are starting to get bigger and dirtier.

The skies are still clear and cloudless, the heat we have here is keeping the storm from coming in too quickly.

We have been very lucky and have always managed to vacation just before or just after hurricanes.
I saw. On the news today that this one is starting to take on a shape, they aren't dangerous until they get organized.

Rose and me had a nice walk and talk on the beach this morning. I am now showered and dressed and waiting for John to be ready to go to the inlet.

When I get home I am going to check the train schedules and see what route I need to take to get to the city. The three of us need to talk so I know where and how to meet up with you in two weeks.

My only request is that I get to the world of Disney store...

hey Tigg....hows the drive home going....you should be almost there...or are you already at home?

Well....i decided it was really time to clean (& clean out) my home office...Thanks to the fire in the hills burning over 20,000 acres...we have lots and lots of ashes on our cars and i just noticed really in the windows (& now on my shutters)....that will be a fun mess to clean up....sure hope they get this fire under control soon....only 35% contained earlier today....

One thing i know is i have TOO MUCH paperwork....and
my filing cabinet is filled, so guess i need to sort through it before i can file much more.....
