So we will be coming in a couple days after Christmas this year and staying through the week. We’ve done NYE a couple times so know what to expect there but what is there to do New Year’s Day, beyond the regular park stuff. Any special brunch’s or dinners or anything going on? Just the wife and I this time so not worrying about kids. Just looking for anything beyond the normal not in the parks. we will have a vehicle if that’s needed also. Thanks

Summer House on the Lake offed a NewYear’s Day brunch this year.
But I don’t think anything has been announced yet for Jan.1st, 2026.

We’ve never done NYE. Can you tell me what to expect? I’m a little worried.
We’ve done it twice both pre covid but both times it was crowded. Lots of crowds. We end to Epcot not MK and we were able to stay at the boardwalk or beach club so we didn’t have to hit the roads. The main thing is lots of crowds and events thought out the countries. Make sure to know the closing phases and where you fall into them

For starters, don’t mope around in your hotel room watching Ryan Seacrest’s cheesy ball drop from New York on WFTV in the early hours of New Years’ Day…

Second, definitely check the My Disney Experience app and the Disney Springs restaurant pages for up to the minute listings on New Years Day specials and events. I’m sure places like Splitsville and House of Blues will have the unique magic you’re looking for.
