Hello....I would like to make a scrapbook of the autographs DD got on our last two trips. I'm not sure if I should scan the autographs and print them or if I should rip out the pages, shape them up and put them in the album.

Have any of you done autograph albums and what have you done?

Also, I just have to say what great pages you all have! They are wonderful! You have all given me some great ideas and inspiration to finish or 2007 trip and work on our 2008 trip! Hope you don't mind if I jump in and join you all!

:welcome: Jump right in and enjoy the fun.. This is our little cozy corner of the DIS and we all are very supportive!!!!

I'm sure a couple of the others will chime in here shortly...

But what I did the first time was incoporate the autographs in by scanning them and than adhering them to tags... Last time we bought the kids books @ WDW so they would each have their own.. Didn't think about doing individual autograph books..

This time, I'm going to make tags for the characters to autograph. My goal is to put each kids a 6X6 or 8x8 autograph book together when we return...

the first time we bought the books from WDW, 1 for each kid, and we tore them out to scrap. Now I make tags out of cardstock. no smaller than 4 x4, eeyore was the only character that had trouble. We also have several people alter mini clipboards to use with the tags.

Thanks for the welcome and ideas! I think I'm going to try and scan the autographs and attach them to tags. Thanks again!

This is what I did the last time we went to Disney and it worked out great! When I got home, I added character embellishments to the cardstock according to who the character was. :)

When DD was into getting the characters autographs, I would buy either the autograph book or a Mickey journal book, have the character sign one page and leave the facing page blank to put the photo of her and the character on that page.

What I did was we bought the WDW autograph book there and had all the characters sign it, when I got home I photocopied all the signatures and made layouts for all the signatures, so now dd has the large scrapbook of our trip with the autographs and her WDW autograph book that she loves to show off!
