Hi there, I accidentally posted this as a thread, but here goes again. We are staying at thw WL next week as part of a land/sea package. I am trying to get my request together to fax. I know that the standard rooms are floors 3,4 and 5, but are any of them better than the others? Are there standard rooms with two queens AND a MK view? Are the standards above the desk in the lobby nicer than those with any view?...HELP?!

Hi All.....If you are booked under the land and Disney Cruise Line package, your room would fall under the Woods view category.I have never seen a land/sea package in a standard view...For everyones information, standard rooms are 4th through 6th floor, most overlooking the service/delivery area and a few overlooking the bus stop...

If you are booked under the Land/Sea and are getting a woods view, then you should fax a request to be near the otter pond. While I have never had one of these rooms, others highly recommend it.

...you are gonna LOVE WL!!!! Hope your trip is safe, happy, and memorable!!!:sunny:

(Be sure to post when you get back! )

Maybe someone can answer a question for me. We are going to WL in June and need connecting rooms. Two queens in each room would be nice. We would prefer courtyard view but woods view would also be ok. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do they have very many connecting rooms?

While we only had one room, it was a connecting room. It was a courtyard view overlooking the lobby, room # 5071. I think it was perfect! It was nearly in the center of the U shaped section of the lodge. The balcony view was a clear unobstructed view of the main courtyard, pool and lake. If I went again, I'd love to have the same room. I'm sure the room it connected with had just as nice a view. Our room had 2 queens, I don't know what the connecting room had. It was fairly close to the elevators and only steps away from a large public balcony. I loved sitting out there in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the lodge come to life!

Hope this helps.

:bounce: Yahoo! staying at the Lodge in December, anyone know how to start that countdown thingy?

There was a thread on the Technical Support board that I used that linked me to the Countdown Clock instructions.
It was not too hard to do.
Try there or do a search of the board fpr countdown clock.
Congrats on going to WL!!!

Hi All..
I hope you will all forgive me, but after today I am no longer using this screen name. It has come to my attention that a former roommate of mine has posted on this board without my permision.I think over the past year my posts have been most helpfull and on a positive note.My dream was always to work for Disney and it is a dream come true. I am having the most Magical time of my life while making Magic for my Guests..It seems that a post was made on a different thread which a friend and fellow cast member made me aware of. I read the thread and was aghast that such nonsense was said on my behalf. I have never made a comment, nor would I about compensation, room requests not met or the like. I was always here to lend a helping hand. I apologize to the OP of that thread and anyone that posted there. I will be rquesting a new screen name to continue what I believe in...The Magic of Disney...Peachgirl..I'll be in touch.

Thank You for a Wonderfull and Magical year of helping you special people..

Have a Magical Day.....

That was a horrible thing for your former room mate to do. In the future you might want to make sure you do not share your password to anyone for signing in to use the forums and each time you visit be sure to sign out, in case you share a computer with anyone else. That way no one will be able to use your screen name.

Good Luck!

Askmickey...

I'm sorry that you've had this problem. I knew there had to be some explanation, but what really happened is a surprise to me.
You have been a tremendous help and it seems awfully unfair to you. I look forward to hearing from you.

askmickey i PMed you the other day,was that you that PMed me or was it your friend?

Askmickey....I'm hoping that we can still look forward to your insight on these boards. You have been a huge help to most of us. Sorry to hear of this problem. I think maybe your roommate needs to be one of the street vacume people!!! Shame on her!!
