New webcast 2/27,2/28,3/1,3/2

Got the email and signed up. Hoping that they will have a preview of GFV, but since it mentioned a special deal on add on's, I'm assuming it is a push to sell out of AKV, AUL, and BLT(is BLT already sold out?). New host Emily Henderson(on HGTV). I like her on her show, so I'm excited to watch. Then again maybe I just need a Disney fix since we won't be going again until 3/14.

We got the email as well, and we plan to sign up. I don't know who the hostess is, but we don't watch much television, so I wouldn't expect us to. It sounds like different information than the previous webcasts, so that is nice.

I'm guessing ET? I'm well trained by my employer's behavior to assume all life runs on ET.

Interesting observation. I saw it and even realized what it said but didn't really think anything about it until I read what you wrote. I guess seeing someone else write it makes you think twice. Hmmm...

I got the impression that the webcast isn't going to be live. Rather, you can view it at any time during the course of the day you sign up for.

The link on my email is baked. Google firefox exp even my Iphone will not open the link.

I used Safari and Google Chrome, they both worked fine.

I pulled up Chrome, the link was still messed up (looks like yahoo, which is my email for home stuff, added on the mess), but with Chrome I was able to see the link info and trim off the junk at the start of the URL.

I wondered what they meant by "Classic Resorts" as well. When I signed up, the thank-you page had pics from 3 resorts on it: OKW, SSR and VB. Maybe they're going to highlight some existing, maybe under appreciated, resorts. Or maybe those were just random pics. We'll see soon.

The link worked and I had no problem signing up - used Google email in Safari on my Mac.

That's interesting. I use Firefox & I just signed up this morning. Everything worked just fine - got the confirmation email.

I suspect it's not the browser, but rather the email server (yahoo) that has mucked up the links. Lt_Lamb also uses yahoo and is having the same issue.

Lt_Lamb - I don't think we can send you our links as there seems to be code in there specific to the individual. I found a way you can do this in firefox:

• In your email click the tiny link at the top that says "view in browser". This will bring the email up in cheetahmail. The link won't work here either, but you can at least see the link!
  
• In that new window, right click over "Register Now" and select "Open in new Window" (or tab).
  
• In that new, new window, simply trim off everything before "www.disneyvacationclubwebevent.com/member...." but leave all the garbleygook behind and run.

This should work - does for me.
