BTW, the registration confirmation includes a link to complete a system check. Flash is required -- so no watching from your iOS devices.

And still ... no mention of a timezone. Disney really seems out of the loop on this one. C'mon, global logistics folks -- jump in and help the marketing department!

We haven't received any invitations for webcasts. We did participate in one a couple of years ago through a link someone posted. We are from Canada, so not sure if this makes a difference. Just seems unfair that many owners are left out

I'm pretty sure Ontario is not included in any restrictions, as we are one of the provinces that we can buy DVC direct from home. But I could be wrong, maybe I'll follow up with our guide one of these days......

I'm in Ontario and have signed up for / watched a few of these webcasts in the past few years ... Did not get the email for the upcoming one yet though.

I would call to be sure...or send an e-mail, so the answer can be researched.

Gee, that really wasn't my assumption. While possible to determine requester's timezone (albeit skewed through use of proxy servers and other common tricks), I honestly figured that was too sophisticated for Disney IT.

Given the stated window, I'm banking on a fixed window in a single timezone, most logically ET. I'm hoping to watch the segment at 6a local (9a ET).

This is part of what my confirmation said..so while I assume it's based on ET, you can tune in at any time during that time frame....so 6am-9pm for you (I think?)......

and entering the date when I became a member. Then signed up with my name, address, email and last 6 digits of my membership number.

Easy!
