NEW Wave Menu?

i was keeping an open mind until the confirmed menu was out, and now it is, I can scratch it from my list. This will not cut it for my family.

Who'd have thought it would be so difficult in Disney to get a nice steak.:confused3

LC - regular filet gone, alternatives not good; CS - now the wave; Yachtsman - terrible experience.
Don't fancy steak with mac and cheese so no jiko, DD not quite ready for CG yet either.

Antioxidant Cocktail, Organic Coffees, organic vodka, organic mango and passion fruit liqueur.

Reasons not to eat or drink here.

I think the menu sounds interesting and will reserve judgment until I have the opportunity to try it for myself. Just because something doesn't appeal to some people doesn't mean it's disgusting. I think plenty of people will be interested in trying organic selections, and I think it's a good thing that Disney is trying new things. Organic and local options in dining are gaining popularity all around the country, so why shouldn't Disney give it a shot?

I agree that it sounds interesting. If I hadn't already planned out where I wanted to eat, and if I thought my dh would go for it, I'd love to try it out. My dh would most likely be one of the people who thinks the menu looks disgusting ::yes:: Can't please everyone!

Does anyone one know if this new restaurant is on the dining plan? I saw a review on allearsnet and it look okay and maybe worth a try.

Prices are outrageous! $17.99 for Seasonal Vegetable stew???? What are they, nuts???:faint: Chicken Pot Pie $19.99.:scared1: Nope, won't be going there...........:rolleyes1

I actually think it looks quite interesting and yummy. The drinks sound good. I don't see why organic equals gross...but then again I like beans, lentils, edamame, and bulgur.

I booked The Wave for breakfast. I think I'll keep it for now, although I do not think my DH is going to like it. It looks interesting to me. The CM I spoke to this morning said she ate there this weekend and enjoyed her breakfast so I thought I'd at least book it for now.

I think the menu looks really good. It's a bit different from any other disney restaurant and their wine list is certainly extensive for a non-signataure restaurant.

you guys that want steak do realize that tenderloin is filet, right?

I booked The Wave as a potential fourth ADR, but probably will eliminate it closer to my trip.

I like very plain, well-prepared and served food. Not mixed together, little or no seasoning. The Concourse Steakhouse had a terrific menu for me.

Good thing I'm planning to make this my last WDW trip for some time. It's reaching the point where I can't even find anything on the menu to eat! It's a shame they forget about wonderful, simple foods when they try for creative menus.

you guys that want steak do realize that tenderloin is filet, right?

That's what I was thinking! Isn't beef tenderloin just another word for filet mignon?

However, the sides sound unappetizing! Wilted Greens? Stewed Mushrooms? Are those a joke? The potatoes sound okay but that is all.

I can see us eating a few things, but it's not forcing me to say "we have to eat there." Since we have some unused credits after we make ADRs, maybe we'll stop by for lunch if avaliable. IMO, lunch looks the most appetizing, followed by breakfast and dinner.
