Any menus, any reviews yet? How did it go at the opening?

Haven't heard of it. Is this a new restaurant?

Yes, it took the place of the Steak House at the Contemporary Resort. It was supposed to have opened this weekend.

subbing - I've got ressies in August and am anxious to know about the restaurant and food also. :)

It is actually located where Food N Fun Center was, near the lobby.

What's the deal? I thought it was going to be sort of Asian influenced ?

Someone posted a review on the dining review page

Kind of OT, but isn't the wine & dine add-on to the DDP $39.99? They only offer 1 eligible wine that costs that much. The others are all cheaper.

ETA: Looks like that only applies to the dessert wines. The menu I saw didn't list other wines, which they obviously have. Maybe, those are a better deal. Sorry, for the confusion.

This is awfull. The food listed for dinner is terriable. Why did they do such a stupid thing. Concourse was one of my best places to eat.

Kevin and John from the DisUnplugged ate there today, they will talk about it Tuesday on the new show.

Thanks for the info.
I think it's fine. Looks like half the other menus at Disney these days.
Lunch is more interesting. That is probably what I will try first.

I am with the poster who said the menu looks disgusting!! We were huge fans of The Concourse, and were willing to give the new one a try, but are not even interested now!! Why would they do such a horrid thing - it seems as if they think the new trend is toward this kind of menu, but I am just not interested.

Just out of curiosity, what was on the Concourses menu that you would miss?
They didn't have that many items on the menu. This one has almost the same stuff.
A couple of steaks,a fish, pork, a seafood pasta and a chicken.
I liked the CS also, but I thought the menu would be very different.

I also liked the premium cut steaks, and the onion rings for appy, and the "to die for" desserts.

I do have to say that the desserts do not sound appealing, and they could use a few more appetizers. Maybe they will add some stuff soon.
I'll probably try the tenderloin or the pasta dish myself.
