As for what they do with the OLD VHS players.....maybe they will send them over to the soon to be open value resort of Pop Century !!! HA ! HA!...just kidding.......;)

:rotfl:What's a "VHS"? :crazy2: :rotfl:

VHS is the format of the tape that goes in the VCR. (originally when these machines came out there was Sony's Beta format, and JVC's VHS). I should have been more clear and typed VCR, rather than VHS. But on the other hand, they really aren't VCR machines, as VCR stands for Video Casstte Recorder, and the machines don't record. They only play. Therefore they are really VCP's (Video Cassette Players), but if I typed VCPs, know one would probably understand what I was talking about either.

In any case, I'm happy with the change over to DVD. DVDs are far easier to pack than a VHS tape. i will also assume that the inventory selection at the Community Hall at BWV will change over to DVD too, so the kids can check them out.

Actually they did record! I recorded the in house stations when we visited in June!

We had been watching Tarzan and got back to the room VCR and Tape gone.

Hey Jay - Never a cop around when you need one, or so your mom says.

So studios still don't get DVD or VCR players?

Bummer.........but can you rent/borrow a player of either type for your studio room from the Community Hall building? Or do they only have the movies to lend out?

asking for the VCR's to be put in the studios, or in the alternate bedrooms.

Maybe if they get enough interest, they will do this.

At any rate, if nobody asks, they might not think of it.

goldilocks_63... The problem with that is that people will expect them to be replaced and/or updated when they are broken.

Can anyone confirm that the new combo units record VHS? I just threw a blank tape into my bag for December so I could record my favorite Disney room channels.:D I tried it in May at OKW, when I got home and looked at it, the picture was all white. The VCR looked old, the remote had all the numbers on the keys rubbed off.
