New Twilight Thread: Forks or La Push? Hmmmmmm....

It's not about not 'managing' to write more books. Sure, Stephenie could write more and definitely get a TON of money out of it. But I'm hoping she's better than that.

Dragging out the series would be worse than anything. Especially when she's firmly told everyone that the plot is O.V.E.R. People need to accept that. The storyline is done, I don't believe there's anything more to say.

If Stephenie kept writing about Bella & Edward, it would be because of the money. And I'm not sure I would keep reading. She would lose a lot of her fans.

Since you're comparing JK & Stephenie, JK did let a lot of people down. A huge amount of her fans were sad to hear the series was ending. But seriously, writing about Harry and his completely happy and non-problematic life would be a snore. As would reading about Bella/Edward/Renessmee in serenity.

Think about it this way. Let the characters have a happy ending.

I agree with this too =D

JK's released The Beedle and the Bard, and her Quidditch and Beasts books back in 2001, but none of those attempt to further Harry's story.

I think it would be awful if Stephenie continued the series. She has already said this it's over. So it's over. People should just except that.

Somebody said that fans are already dying out. It's probably because of what a big deal the series has become. The movie kind of sucked. 12 year olds are being crazy obsessive over Rob. It turns off a lot of people. It turned me off.

I still like the books. I still like the characters. But I'm definitely not as big of a fan as I used to be.

One more thing, some people need to realize there ARE other amazing books out there besides Twilight. They should broaden their reading.

A lot of Harry Potter fans are a little different than Twilight fans though.

Yes, it's widespread, but plenty people are more "in the closet" about it. Not many people (at my school) will pull out a HP book to read, but if you ask them they'd tell you.

if you look on the FAQ page they list why they are charging so much for it. what they wrote down may sound "feesible" but really. i go to cons all the time and they have just as much stuff as this one. them charging attendees for everything they wanted to have is just a little insane. i pay at the most $200 less than what theyre asking for.

I personally don't want to see any Disney Channel stars in New Moon. It is not their kind of role. Especially Vanessa Hudgens or Lucas Gabriel. I thought it was bad enough that the director was considering Prince Caspian to play Jacob when he is far from Native American. I really want him to stick with fresh faces with a more Indi attitudes not preppy girls or stuck up guys. Like Robert and Kristen are so down to Earth and same with Victoria and Laurent and all of the Cullens and to me they have really become family. It is going to be hard to find more people like them.
